Need help starting Plasma Pong
Alright, so I have no issues getting Plasma Pong started...as long as I run it through the command line. ie: Code: wine "C:\Plasma Pong\Plasma Pong.exe"[quote] That example works fine...as long as it's done in a terminal. However, the game seems to not like being ran without a terminal. (I can't just click on the .exe file to run it). I'm wondering if there's a way

FORWARD:REJECT
I have a 3 nic setup with shorewall 1.4.8-1 running on redhat 9. My eth2 (dmz zone)has 7 secondary address attached to it. I can ping a machine in each subnet, dmz to net rules seem to be working fine on all machines.. I have my policy set as dmz to dmz accept. If I try to ping between subnets I get Nov 21 12:18:45 kbeewall kernel: Shorewall:FORWARD:REJECT:IN=eth2 OUT=eth2 SRC=172.17.0.2

concurrent requests (Rook, but I think the question is more general)
This question involves Rook, but I think the answer will be general enough that it pays to post here. At any rate, I don't know enough to know whether this is a Rook only issue or a general R issue. Here's what I'd like to do (and indeed, have code that should do this): 1. Start R, Rook 2. Start an analysis via a HTTP request to Rook. This analysis uses .Call() to some compiled C

Plasma Pong
Hi, I'm trying to get Plasma Pong 1.3c (www.plasmapong.com) running, and according to the appdb, 1.3b works with 0.9.33. However, I can't get it to work right now with 0.9.37 or 0.9.40. I get the following error: Error: Could not open the scoreboard file: '/scores.ini' An error has occured in the sound sub-system: (52) Error initializing output device. The FMOD sound system

DROPPED SYN Packets
Hi, One person, trying to access my website has troubles doing so. All other users do not have a problem. I have a cable modem, with a shorewall 1.4 machine behind it. On the second interface of the shorewall machine I have a few machines, of which one is the webserver. Checking the logfile I see the following messages: Aug 30 21:24:16 gatekeeper kernel: Shorewall:rfc1918:DROP:IN=eth1

[PATCH] Marking packets according to user in tcrules
Hi, First of all, thanks to all shorewall developers. Shorewall is really great. Here is a patch to add the following feature : This patch allows you to mark packets according to the user name under which the program generating output is running. To do so, the patch will allow you to write rules in the tcrules file looking like that : #MARK SOURCE DEST PROTO PORT(S) CLIENT USER #

Varying test data
This isn''t specific to RSpec, but is hopefully on-topic for this list. I like (especially when "ping pong pairing") to write a spec, then write the smallest amount of code I can to pass it (especially when "ping pong pairing"). Sometimes this means hard-coding a return value, which means another spec is needed to prove that the code is really behaving as it
