Where have all the Gaim icons gone?
Has anyone noticed that in the latest gaim update
(gaim-1.3.1-0.el4.3.i386.rpm) almost all the MSN smiley icons are not
included in the package? I've reverted to gaim-1.3.1-0.el4.i386.rpm and
they're all there. Is this a bug? and if not why would redhat remove the
smiley icons from Gaim?

repost (passive FTP server in DMZ and shorewall 1.4.2)
I apologize for the first message. :)
---------------------------------------
I have an FTP server running in the DMZ section of my home network. It uses port 23000 for connection and ports 19990 to 19994 for data transfer.
I have setup the following rule for outside people to connect to it:
DNAT net dmz:192.168.2.2 tcp 23000

Wine and XP
I have Wine working, and my Windows XP-installation mounted
as read only. Reading the FAQ, I noticed: "DON'T configure Wine
to use an NT-based Windows install (NT, Win2K, WinXP)."
So... is it futile to try to get XP-applications running on my
Linux-box? Should I install them from Wine, and if so, how?
"wine SETUP.EXE"?
I'm mostly interested in running Instant Messanger

Logging with a Single IP address setup - Newbie confusion
Hi All,
Issue: My Syslog logging doesn''t seem to work for REJECT / DROP policies
Context: Shorewall version 1.4.4b on a single IP address setup
Diagnosis: Default /etc/shorewall/common.def triggers a DROP prior to policy
based -j LOG actions
For example selected lines (from the generated iptables) ...
The net2all policy:
a) -A net2all -m state --state RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT

* Dovecot now fails to load plugins that were compiled for different
Dovecot version, unless version_ignore=yes is set. This needs to be
explicitly set in plugins, so out-of-tree plugins won't have this
check by default.
- pop3_lock_session=yes could cause deadlocks, and with maildir the
uidlist lock could have been overridden after 2 minutes causing
