Re: routing between networks on same
Hi Tom,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I aplied changes as you suppose, and now users can
comunicate each with others. - thank you very much.
I have just one aditional question regarding
PKTTYPE=No variable.
I didnt find it in shorewall.conf so I simply add it
at the end of conf file (above #Last line :-) ) So
question is it is standard feature of shorewall, and
from which version it is

Can Asterisk RAS?
I am trying to set up somthing so I can dial into my asterisk box, and
have it behave as a modem bank. Is there anything like that already, or
am I going to have to write my own. I checked googls and found no
leads, but thought I would ask here before I tried writing my own, just
to make sure I wasnot reinventing the wheel.
Thank you in advance for any responses.

SAMBA 4 ACL support
Hi all,
I am experimenting with samba 4. I have existing data on NTFS partition and
want to share them via samba. But I have problems with permissions (ACL).
There is an option: ntvfs handler that tells how mapping of permissions
between unix and windows world shall behave. But there is lack of
documentation. So I tried posix, simiple but in either case I wasnot able to
write even set permissions

Marks as read on mover to Archive
How would I setup dovecot so that when messages are moved to the Archive mailbox, they are marked as read?
Would it be similar to the imap-sieve for spam tagging?
imapsieve_mailbox1_name = Junk
imapsieve_mailbox1_causes = COPY
imapsieve_mailbox1_before = file:/usr/lib/dovecot/sieve/report-spam.sieve
Or is there a simpler method?
If it matters:
mailbox Archive {

[LLVMdev] Question about MachineFunction Pass
Hi,
I wrote a machinefunction pass to try to see what's going on. Does it mean that it is target machine dependent pass, like x86? However, after compile it, I found there wasnot command option I registered. I used regular way to do it like RegisterOpt <...> X("... ", "... "), but I cannot see the optimized option when I use opt -load ../../lib/Debug/libxxx.so

asterisk 1.2 with grandstream ht-496 2nd port registration issues
hi@all
I have the following problem:
With asterisk 1.09 the grandstream's registers fine with both ports,
with version 1.2.1 (the newest port on freebsd) I get "Unauthorized" SIP
messages from the 2nd port. The ports are configured identically, the
only difference is the sip and rtp port. On the first port the sip port
is 5060 on the second 5062. The rtp on the first 5004 on the

Dear Sir,
I have point-point ethernet connections to my linux
boxes on which I am running Zebra OSPFD.
I am unable to understand the output of the tcpdump.
Please clarify the terms in the output.
The output of the command tcpdump on BOX 1 is as
follows: I have also shown a part of my network below.

Allowing OSPF
What shorewall rules would be required to allow the OSPF routing protocol to
pass fw<->loc?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

syslinux.efi pxeboot across multiple subnets
The same client was used for syslinux.efi (both success on same subnet and
failure on different subnet) and grub.efi. The DHCP host block is setup
like:
host testing {
hardware ethernet {mac} ;
next-server 10.16.195.178 ;
filename "rhel64/syslinux.efi" ;
}
I'll pull a tcpdump filtering by the IP tomorrow when I get back to the
systems.

Need config.h
I'm not trying to build Wine on my system, only to extract enough
files so I can define my own version of an edit control -- the one
built into Windows does too much in one area and not enough in
another, and subclassing doesn't solve the problem. I've identified
the file I need (\dlls\user32\edit.c) and can find the associated
include files, however I can't find

Shorewall + IPSec: help debugging why gw1<->gw2 SA works, but loc<->gw2 traffic doesn't trigger SA
Dear list,
I''m running Shorewall on a dedicated Fedora 7 box. Shorewall is working
well as an office DSL router (dynamic IP) with loc and dmz zones. I am now
trying to configure IPSec to connect a VPS, "casp", with a static IP to both
the firewall and to the loc network behind it. The host to host SA works
fine. However, pings from "loc" to "casp" can be

libvirt call qemu to create vm need more than 10 seconds
Hi all:
It takes more than 10 seconds to create a vm on a Dell R830 machine, but it takes less than 2 seconds on other machines. This is not normal, so I turned on the debug log for libvirtd. I analyzed the log and found that the time was spent on libvirtd calling qemu. Thread 95225 calls the qemuProcessLaunch interface at 14:22:30.129 and then builds the emulator command line, but the
