[LLVMdev] Pass and return of large objects

Okay, so we seem to be saying sret or suchlike is how you pass and return large objects by value in LLVM. What exactly counts as large?

spec template for CRUD?
Hello, Has anyone already come up with a set of shared behaviours that someone could leverage when adhering to a CRUD concept, with respect to controllers? Relatedly, it would be nice if there were a way to share generalized behaviour specs. -Chris

Misleading documentation on FP to integer conversion instructions?
The LLVM IR reference manual states, for fptosi: "The ‘fptosi’ instruction converts its floating-point <http://llvm.org/docs/LangRef.html#t-floating> operand into the nearest (rounding towards zero) signed integer value." I interpreted this to mean that it rounds: The nearest integer to 0.3 is 0. The nearest integer to 0.9 is 1. The nearest integer to 0.5 is either 0 or 1. And

shorewall dynamic zones confusion
Hi, I''ve been successfully using shorewall in our K12 school since the 2.x days initially on Mandrake and now on Debian. Because of that my config has got quite complicated. The firewall has a working MultiISP setup with four interfaces (I''ve renamed them with udev to easy their identification): lan-if, dmz-if, snt-if and dnt-if (one of the providers (the one on dnt-if) is a DSL

Authentification against kerberos / sssd
Hello list, a quick question. Right now I have a combination of MIT Kerberos, OpenLDAP and SSSD for authenticating my users. Is there a way that Samba can use this setup to perform user authentication. I only want to access the shares of the Samba server from about 8 Windows computers. I am aware that I cannot make an Active Directory out of this. At the moment I have stored the users in a local

Dyndns
Hi, I''ve a little problem, I hope so.. First a hint, I haven''t a static IP - Adress and so I used a dyndns Provider. In DMZ runs a sftp server. It should accessible from net. My router is forwarding the traffic from port 22 to the machine in DMZ. Now, in basic installation I have rfc1918-dropping configured by net interface. My problem: If rfc1918 dropping is on I

safe zfs-level snapshots with a UFS-on-ZVOL filesystem?
I had some trouble installing a zone on ZFS with S10u4 (bug in the postgres packages) that went away when I used a ZVOL-backed UFS filesystem for the zonepath. I thought I''d push on with the experiment (in the hope Live Upgrade would be able to upgrade such a zone). It''s a bit unwieldy, but everything worked reasonably well - performance isn''t much worse than straight

NetBios at AD DC mode ?

As far as I know there are many small/medium LANs where NetBios features such as neighborhood, folders, printers sharing using NetBios names resolving and others are still used. In my opinion It

Linux on a Thinkpad R40
I've just acquired a use IBM Thinkpad R40 model 2722-GDM. I'm contemplating what to run on it, and longer-term the likely candidates are: Centos 5 SLE{D,S} 10 OpenSUSE 10.2 Kubuntu - the latest. Putting splom in a function
Hello R list, I have a little problem with splom. I'd like to wrap it in a function, for example: multi.scatterplot <- function(data,groups,cols,colors) { splom(~data[,cols], groups = as.symbol(groups), data = data, panel = panel.superpose, col=colors) } and then call it like in multi.scatterplot(iris,"Species",1:4,c("green","blue","red"))
