selectFGR vs weighted coxph for internal validation and calibration curve- competing risks model
Dear Geskus,
I want to develop a prediction model. I followed your paper and analysed thro' weighted coxph approach. I can develop nomogram based on the final model also. But I do not know how to do internal validation of the model and subsequently obtain calibration plot. Is it possible to use Wolbers et al Epid 2009 approach 9 (R code for internal validation and calibration) . It is

pdftools on Ubuntu
Hi Francois,
Thanks for your quick response.
Actually, I had already done that...
sudo apt-get install libpoppler-cpp-dev
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
libpoppler-cpp-dev is already the newest version (0.41.0-0ubuntu1.1).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 107 not upgraded.
Therefore, I assume I have this installed.

New package: bridgedist (v 0.1.0)
R Users,
The d/p/q/r functions for the bridge distribution are now available in
bridgedist.
When a random intercept follows the bridge distribution, as detailed in
Wang and Louis (2003) <doi:10.1093/biomet/90.4.765
<http://dx.doi.org/10.1093/biomet/90.4.765>>, a marginalized
random-intercept logistic regression will still be a logistic regression
with marginal coefficients that are

mboost partial contribution plots
Just having read the nice review article on boosting in the latest
"Statistical Science", I would love to reproduce some of the plots inside
that article, but it is not clear to me how to create the partial
contribution plots for the Poisson regression.
Does anyone have example code for this ?
(The vignette does not offer it, I think)
Thanks !
Markus
