update.packages(checkBuilt=TRUE) returns Error: invalid version specification NA in 2.9.0
I installed R-2.9.0 yesterday, and followed the instructions in the R for Windows FAQ, 2.8 What's the best way to upgrade? It reads "run update.packages(checkBuilt=TRUE, ask=FALSE) in the new R and then delete anything left of the old installation." I did this but it returned an error. My forest plot is not fit to windows in R software
Dear Fahimeh It would help if you also told us what package you are using as there are several which perform forest plots. I assume it is meta. Your plot is cropped on three side as far as I can see. What parameters did you give to the call of the graphics device? What happens if you use a different graphics format like pdf? Then we may be able to see where the issue lies. Michael On

Issue calling MICE package
IIUC, this would be an isssue with MICE (or rather "mice"), which isn't Ole's. Problem with Rd2.tex tduring compilation
The error is that one of your documentation files is failing. Try compiling each one separately with R CMD Rd2pdf yourfilenamehere.Rd and see what happens. There is a list especially for package developers which might be better in future.
