[GSoC18] About LLVM Projects
Dear LLVM Team: My name is Guo Xing, a student who are in his third year of college. GSoC2018 is coming, and I want to do some contribution for llvm community. However, the open projects page is for GSoC2017, and some projects like Shell auto-completion support for clang <http://llvm.org/OpenProjects.html#clang-shell-autocompletion-support> have been done. [GSOC 2018] Mentors and projects needed! Any help appreciated.
All, The LLVM project has had many years of success with the Google Summer of Code project and we would really like to continue our participation. However, without the support of more community members, we fear that we may not be selected as an organization this year. They are already reviewing projects and to improve our chances of participation we need more projects and mentors listed on the

[cfe-dev] [GSOC 2018] Mentors and projects needed! Any help appreciated.
Hi Tanya, Is it too late to get some smaller projects for XRay in there? Here's two: XRay Function Coverage Mode: Implementing an XRay mode to gather function call coverage information. This will be useful in determining which functions in an application has been called either on-demand or throughout its lifetime. XRay Converters: Implementing conversion tools for XRay traces into

[cfe-dev] [GSOC 2018] Mentors and projects needed! Any help appreciated.
Hi Anton, Forgive me for the potentially dumb question -- but how do I do that myself? The monorepo doesn't contain the website source(s) and it's unclear how I can do that myself... I'd love to do it myself but I'm a little lost on how to do it. Help? On Tue, Feb 20, 2018 at 9:18 PM Anton Korobeynikov <anton at korobeynikov.info> wrote: > Dean, > > Please add

GSOC 2018: Diversification of Search Results
We are equally excited about working with you over summer. I think you missed reply by Olly on IRC, you can find it in logs here: https://botbot.me/freenode/xapian/2018-04-24/?msg=99336093&page=1 - olly icebyte[m]: i think that probably needs to go through SFC ( https://sfconservancy.org/) as the "legal entity" - 2:05 am

[gsoc2018] Where's the source for clang-doc
Hi I'm interested in working on clang as a gsoc project. It's under the catagory "Clang Tools Extra" [here](http://llvm.org/OpenProjects.html#doc-html-generator), but I can't seem to find it's source anywhere. Not even at the llvm site [documentation](https://clang.llvm.org/extra/clang-doc.html). It isn't on github and google is no help either in this case. Does

Patch to add Beta binomial distribution. Mentor needed!
Hello, I implemented the Beta binomial distribution following the patterns of the binomial distribution code and inspired by JAGS' code [1]. I have studied the code carefully but it's my first run in the R internals. Can somebody review the code and if everything it's ok commit to the repository? [1]

[GSoC] Mentor qualification guidelines
Hi all, I have a question related to GSoC. One of my students submitted an idea [1] for a GSoC project and I would be interested in (co-)mentoring this project but I'm unsure of the qualification requirements for acting as a mentor. Is there anyone that can clarify the requirements here? I have been working with LLVM for several years now but mostly on projects outside of the main LLVM

Public Apology to Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Singapore
I was misconstrued as having insulted Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. My words were twisted and misinterpreted and I feel that there is a need to explain myself and set the record straight. [b]What really happened[/b] It was sometime in Aug/Sep in the year 2009. The setting was in the Tampines Central office of Asiasoft Online Pte Ltd. I was having a ***verbal*** conversation with Melvin Lee,

requesting a mentor for R development
I'd like to learn the process of revising R functions & packages and then submitting proposed patches to the R Core team. Would someone be willing to mentor me through one example? For starters, consider an example. I'd like to revise the t.test function to return the stderr value to the user. We only need to change the "rval" in the third-from-the end line of
