Change to r-devel warns on #pragma
Hi Patrick, It was recently added as a cran policy (thanks Dirk's cran policy watch: https://twitter.com/markvdloo/status/935810241190617088). It seems to be a general stricter policy on keeping to the C(++) standard. Warnings are there for a reason and should usually not be ignored. I'm not familiar with the warning you are suppressing but it seems likely that your code might assume

xrealloc namespace conflict
I have a package on CRAN now (corpus-0.3.1) that is currently failing tests on Linux, but passing on all other architectures: https://cran.r-project.org/web/checks/check_results_corpus.html I believe that the issue arrises from a namespace class between "xrealloc", which my package provides for internal use, but which R also seems to provide (possibly as part of TRE in

[LLVMdev] Support for per-loop pragma
I'd like to add a pragma support in llvm. I am thinking about using a llvm intrinsic to represent each pragma, such as llvm.pragma (metadata, ...) where metadata describes a pragma. So if an application has: #pragma p1 .. #pragma p2... for (...) The llvm IR would be llvm.pragma (metadata..) // for p1 llvm.pragma (metadata..) // for p2 llvm IR for "for

[LLVMdev] Support for per-loop pragma
Many compilers support per-loop pragma, such as loop unrolling (ie #pragma unroll=2). Is there any LLVM project/effort going on in this area ? What is the expected way for implementing per-loop pragma, or general pragma ? Suggestions/comments ? Thanks Junjie

I've done a bit more investigation into this issue. Here is my current understanding of the situation: 1. I have a package on CRAN (corpus-0.3.1) that passes tests on all platforms except for Linux. 2. My package defines a C function, "xrealloc", for internal use. 3. The libreadline library that R links to defines a different version of "xrealloc". 4. On Linux, when I

Hi all ! I'm new in this list and newbie about R I'm trying to use R scripts (as in the attached file) for creating some distributions plots of data retrieved by a workflow(with Rserve, to be precise). I was able to do it (even if not in a beatiful way, I have to improve it especially about labels and coordinates) with number inputs like :

[LLVMdev] adding a new pragma in OpenMP
Hi, I am trying to add an extension to OpenMP through a new pragma. I was wondering if there is any way I can declare a new pragma and define a set of rules for macro expansion or use PassManager in LLVM to expand the pragma. Thanks in advance. Regards, --Hari
