OT: forwarding SNMP traps
Can anyone here give me a hand with forwarding snmp traps? I'm looking at Zenoss and I
want to see how it handles snmp traps. We currently have snmp traps getting sent to two
servers. One of them is basically ignoring the traps, but I can't just change the ip address (to
give to Zenoss) because of other things the host is doing.
So instead I'd like to simply forward the snmp traps

Informix database
We use Informix database. I was able to connect to the database with
S-PLUS by using its CONNECT/Java through the JDBC driver.
How can I connect to Informix with R, wither using JDBC or any other
method? we run Linux so I prefer a method other than ODBC.
Thankx for the help

for loop doesn't stop with upper loop value
Hi list,
could anyone please educate me on the following:
lst<-seq(47, 239, by=12)
for(n in lst)
{
  lower=n; upper=lower+10
   for(i in lower+2 : upper)
   {
     print(paste(n, " i: ", i, " lower: ",lower, " upper :", upper))
   }
}
does not stop when i = upper
A while loop fixes this but, I still don't understand why the for loop
doesn't stop
