[patch] Support many columns in model.matrix
Thanks. Couldn't you implement model.matrix(..., sparse = TRUE) with a small amount of R code similar to MatrixModels::model.Matrix ? Crash on opening mailbox
Hi! I'm currently experiencing a crash of dovecot 2.2.25 on Gentoo, upon opening mailbox. The crash only triggers on opening inbox, other mailboxes seem to work fine. It happens every time, and can be reproduced on request. I also briefly tried 2.2.19, and it behaves the same. The bug seems to be triggered by some mail, as I encountered it previously and fixed by removing some spam. I

debug vs regular mode
Dear all, I had a R segmentation fault, and then invoked debug mode and ran step by step. When I reached "terms(Y~X1*X2*...*X16)", I would then have "segmentation" fault. However, if I just ran this under regular "R interactive" mode, it would be fine though taking long time. My questions are: 1. Is there a known limit of terms for a formula? 2. Why does the

memory pages nulling when releasing
Hello everyone! Could you tell me if FreeBSD supports memory page nulling when releasing it to prevent unauthorized access to data left in the page after it's allocated again. If it does, what sys calls etc provide that? IMHO this is an important issue when operating data with different sensivity levels. Thanks in advance. Nick

[Bug 112] Using host key fingerprint instead of "yes"
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112 ------- Additional Comments From dan at doxpara.com 2002-02-13 11:43 ------- Heh, I kinda like that. You should update the yes/no prompt to say that pasting the expected host key will result in appropriate testing, as well as providing some sort of error if the remote side *doesn't* match the key pasted in. I hadn't thought of cut

Samba and Active Directory 2008
I was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting samba working with a Windows 2008 domain? I've got mine working for the most part except for UID lookups. I've got identity management for unix installed on on the windows box and have several users configured with custom home directories, login shell, and UID on the Unix attributes tab. My samba server is joined to the domain, wbinfo -u
