buildr Windows 7 64 bit problems
Preface: I''m not overly familiar with the inner workings of RoR, so I apologize for my relatively superficial knowledge upfront I have a new 64 bit Windows 7 machine. My dev environment on my old machine which functions fine (sans a functioning monitor -- thus the new machine), I have the following installed and functioning well: Ruby 1.8.6 using the Windows MSI installer Buildr 1.3.3

problem with Rmpi 0.5-5 and openmpi
Dear knowledgeable experts :-), I am trying to get openmpi, Rmpi and SNOW running on a Myrinet/GM cluster. I'm not an IT expert, but I surely could use a working installation of Rmpi and SNOW. I try to load the Rmpi library and get the following: > library(Rmpi) [master:07230] mca: base: component_find: unable to open osc pt2pt: file not found (ignored)

[Kernel 3.1.5] [OCFS2] After many write/delete on ocfs2 both servers in cluster kernel oops
+cc: ocfs2-devel, sunil Marek, Thanks for the detailed report! Can I trouble you to file a bug at http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla ... oh, is that your report http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1339? This looks like a deadlock of some sort. I don't think your hardware configuration really matters here. We'll keep looking into it. Joel On Tue, Dec 20, 2011 at 08:22:48AM

wine-20010510 fails to run?
The system I am using is a clean install of Mandrake 8.0 which has the gcc version 2.96 installed. I downloaded the wine-20010510 snapshot and successfully ran the ./tools/wininstall. The build seems to have run without problems and if I type: wine --version the correct release number is displayed indicating the install was also succesful. As per the FAQ I also did the following:

Counter Strike Source Won't load.
Okay so I have just installed Fedora 16 64-bit. Coming from a Ubuntu user I'm well aware that counter strike source works great under linux. I've been trying to get it to work but every time I try to load it, it loads for a moment and then crashes. I have the proprietary AMD ATI drivers for my ATI Radeon HD 5750. They seem to be rendering fine according to the debugger. I'm currently

PROBLEM: Filesystem became readonly, then kernel crashes on shutdown
Hi All, I just had "an issue" with my Linux 2.6.1 kernel. While working, I tried to rf -rf a directory, and was told my filesystem was mounted readonly (which it wasn't). I then shut the machine down, and on shutdown, I got a "kernel BUG at fs/ext3/super.c: 411". Full report below: Mike [1.] One line summary of the problem: Filesystem became readonly, then

Hello , There is a way to source /etc/profile inside puppet on demand? My problem is that I install Java, afterwards I set JAVA_HOME variable in /etc/profile. openssh directories on Haiku
First off, I'd like to say thanks for applying the patch we recently submitted on the bug tracker to allow openssh to build on Haiku. In our current port of openssh for Haiku it's creating a directory ~/.ssh, we'd like to have this moved to ~/config/settings/ssh (without a dot in front of ssh). Haiku (and BeOS before that) has a function available to determine the location of a

[fdo] Haiku - FreeDesktop.org cooperation proposal
From: Haiku - http://www.haiku-os.org/about To: FreeDesktop.org GNU/Linux has gained quite some momentum on the desktop, with the help of Gnome and KDE environments, and the FreeDesktop.org project. Haiku is a Free Software (BSD/MIT) desktop targeted operating system, designed to present a coherent and simple to use environment, inspired by BeOS. Although Haiku does not use X11, it provides
