[OT] new R logo in vector graphics format
L.S.
Since some time there is a new r-project.org site as announced here:
https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-announce/2015/000581.html
The logo has changed on the site, but I fail to find a vector graphics file.
For the previous logo I used to go to
https://svn.r-project.org/R-dev-web/trunk/Logo/
Is there anything similar for the new logo?
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Tobias

regenerate Rscript after moving R installation
L.S.
In this bug report
https://bugs.r-project.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14493#c1
it is mentioned that after moving an R installation
one should regenerate the Rscript executable.
Is there an easy way to do so (after an R installation has been
moved)?
I have not found any information in the R installation and
administration manual.
Many thanks in advance for any pointer.
Best wishes,

Roxygen vs Sweave for S4 documentation
Hi,
I have been using R for a while. Recently, I have begun converting my
package into S4 classes. I was previously using Rdoc for documentation.
Now, I am looking to use the best tool for S4 documentation. It seems that
the best choices for me are Roxygen and Sweave (I am fine with tex).
Are there any users of Roxygen or Sweave who can comment on the strengths or
weaknesses of one or othe

Programming Tools CTV
Hi all,
Sorry if this doesn't end up in the thread.
Tobias Verbeke forwarded that e-mail to me, because he thought I would be interested in maintaining the Programming Tools CTV.
I wasn't subscribed to R-devel yet, but I would indeed like to volunteer to maintain the Programming Tools CTV.
It will be my first time creating a CTV, so some guidance on getting it setup will be appreciated.

p.adjust.Rd sugggestion
L.S.
In the current version of ?p.adjust.Rd, one needs
to scroll down to the examples section to find
confirmation of one's guess that "fdr" is an
alias of "BH".
Please find a patch in attachment which mentions
this explicitly.
Best,
Tobias

texi2dvi / egrep issue shows (a.o.) up in R-alpha
L.S.
I noticed weird tools::texi2dvi behaviour on R-alpha
when specifying an absolute path to the .tex
file.
The same phenomenon also appears to occur on
R-2.12.2, so maybe the issue is independent
of R.
I hope I did not overlook any important information.

Tobias

Programming Tools CTV
Dear Willem,
Personally, I use the R-forge project for the distribution CTV : https://r-forge.r-project.org/projects/ctv/
It?s an alternative option to github.

Problem cross-compiling on Ubuntu
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) and R 2.7.1.
I've built a package from source (a modified version of gbm) and it
contains some C++ code. I now want to cross-compile it to get a
Windows version.
I installed R using
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install r-base
sudo apt-get install r-base-dev
So far as I can tell, I've also followed all the instructions in the
guide

bquote/evalq behavior changed in R-3.2.1
David,
If you are referring to the solution that would be:
rapply(list(test), eval, envir = fenv)
I thought I explained in the question that the above code does not work. It
does not throw an error, but the behavior is no different (at least in the
output or result). Using the above code still results in the x object not
being stored in fenv on 3.1.2.

When I looked at the source of the difference, it was that typeof() returned 'language' in 3.2.1, while it returned 'list' in the earlier version of R. The first check in rapply's code in both version was:
if (typeof(object) != "list")

R licence
Hi,
is it possible to use some statistic computing by R in proprietary software?
Our software is written in c#, and we intend to use
http://rdotnet.codeplex.com/
to get R work there. Especially we want to use loess function.
Thanks,

Would it be possible to use a non-ambiguous example

Makefile for embedding OpenBUGS in R package
Dear list,
I'm trying to embed OpenBUGS in an R package for use of it
on 64-bit Linux. In order to get the CLI working one has to
compile C code contained in $OpenBUGS/Manuals/CBugs.html
(copied to say CBugs.c) using
gcc -m32 -o bugs CBugs.c -ldl
I put the OpenBUGS distribution in the ./inst subdirectory of
the package root. Where should I now put the CBugs.c and how
