R package update on Kubuntu
Dear list,[1]I use a current and continuously updated Linux distribution (Kubuntu, 14.XY < LTS < 15.10) and since not so long I decided to venture into R statistical programming by means of an editor suitable for KDE called "rkward"; the R version installed on that Linux machine is version 3.0.2.[2]I experienced problems concerning the installation of R packages and R

RFE: dnsbl-support for dovecot
after having my own dnsbl feeded by a honeypot and even mod_security supports it for webservers i think dovecot sould support the same to prevent dictionary attacks from known bad hosts, in our case that blacklist is 100% trustable and blocks before SMTP-Auth while normal RBL's are after SASL i admit that i am not a C/C++-programmer, but i think doing the DNS request and in case it has a

C:\llvm\bin>llc -version Low Level Virtual Machine (http://llvm.org/): llvm version 2.6svn DEBUG build. Built Jan 31 2010(20:46:01). Share & Domain Level Authentication Required From Same Server
Using 'Samba version 2.2.1a' Please could someone offer advice in order to configure the following. I need domain level authentication for most shares, however 1 share needs to be made available to a none domained NT client, such that perhaps share or user level security would be appropriate. How can this be configured on a single samba server. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds

1.4 release series
The wiki roadmap page (http://trac.xapian.org/wiki/RoadMap) suggests we aim to start a new stable release series every one to two years. However, we're not doing a good job of implementing that - in fact we're just about to hit 5.5 years since 1.2.0 was released. And that's really much too long - we've built up a pile of nice new features which it's hard for most people to

problems with app_odbcexec
Hi all, I am trying to install the ODBCexec and ODBCquery functions into my dialplan but I'm having difficulties in the installation of app_odbcexec.c itself. I'm using Asterisk 1.2.1 and I've downloaded and installed unixODBC. But when I try to run "make" after editing Makefile and copying the app_odbcexec.c to my asterisk/apps location, this is the output I get: cc -fPIC

Compiling Samba with FAM support on Irix
Some weeks ago I asked for help because I got "relocation truncated to fit: R_MIPS_GPREL16 against `.srdata'" error messages when trying to compile Samba 3.5.8 including FAM support on SGI Irix 6.5.28 using gcc 3.4.6 . A hint was found on this page: <http://sourceware.org/ml/ecos-discuss/2000-04/msg00214.html>, which explains the cause of the message and suggests to try
