R-packages for Ubuntu 15.10 wily
Dear Dirk, I just upgraded to Ubuntu 15.10. It seems that the r-packages are not upgrading although deb files exist on the cran repository. For instance, r-cran-rjags is back to 3-15-1 On the repository, I saw that the 'Sources' and 'Packages' files in wily folder show vivid version of packages although dated to yesterday : https://cran.univ-paris1.fr/bin/linux/ubuntu/wily/Sources

Outdated r-base-core when installing on Ubuntu 14.04
Thanks for the replies. Crouton does get in the way of installing arbitrary linux distros - in particular the only ubuntu distros that are fully supported are precise and trusty (12.04 and 14.04). Others have gotten vivid and wily to work with some effort. I found a reasonably detailed guide for vivid, so I'm currently installing it on the machine. We'll see how it goes. Once it's

Outdated r-base-core when installing on Ubuntu 14.04
Since 14.04 is the Long Term Support version, which also is used by Linux Mint, it's not really outdated, and a lot of folk, myself included, use that stream (my machine says Linux Mint 17.1, but I think that is simply the splash screen). I say stream, because the kernel and other infrastructure are being updated, though probably not to the level Dirk prefers, and I do use other distros for

JAGS 3.0 and the Ubuntu repositories: A fix for jrags users
Ubuntu R users, Early this month, version 3.0 of JAGS was released on its Sourceforge page. Dirk Eddelbuettel and I quickly rolled up packages for Debian and Ubuntu, respectively. If you are an Ubuntu user who utilizes my Launchpad PPA for your R related .deb files, JAGS was updated automatically. The downside to this is that JAGS 3.0 is not compatible with the R package rjags, also found

problem with rjags installation in ubuntu 14.04
Hello folks Earlier versions of jags and rjags installed on my system without any difficulty, but I'm having trouble with jags version 4.3.0-1ubuntu2~ubuntu14.04.1~ppa1 (from Michael Rutter's R ppa) and rjags version 4.6. The call to install.packages() I always used successfully now produces the error "cannot link to JAGS library in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu."? shown below

Error installing rjags in Ubuntu Linux
Hi, Here is a step-by-step guide to exactly how I've installed R in Ubuntu: http://www.nabble.com/installing-R-on-Ubuntu-td10025949.html#a21894865 Regarding rjags, here is what happened: This webpage (http://yusung.blogspot.com/2009/01/install-jags-and-rjags-in-fedora.html) recommends logging into R as sudo R, and then typing: install.packages("rjags",

Can't install rjags on LinuxMint 12
Hi, I'm trying to install rjags and R2jags with R version 2.14.1 (2011-12-22) on Linux Mint 12 machine using software repository: deb http://cran.fhcrc.org/bin/linux/ubuntu oneiric/ jags seems to install OK, but rjags gives a weird error about not finding fprec symbol. Here is a history of the problem including several attempts to work around it. (Because of Ben Bolker's recent

doveadm output format changes
It appears that doveadm output format changes every now and then, without particular notice. For example, the following command: doveadm -f pager mailbox status 'messages recent' '*' did output something like this until v2.2.24 : mailbox: Mailbox1 messages: 58 recent: 12 ^L mailbox: Mailbox2 messages: 128 recent: 0 but switched to that in v2.2.26 : Mailbox1 messages: 58
