ezstream build failure and AC_LIB_PREPARE_PREFIX
Hello there,
First of all, is this the right place to ask about ezstream? I couldn't find
a better one.
I wanted to tinker a bit with ezstream, so I checked the Subversion head out
(by the way, the ezstream page on icecast.org does not list the Subversion
URI, so I figured http://svn.xiph.org/trunk/ezstream/ will do). However, I
couldn't compile it, because autogen.sh said this:

Icecast streaming https
I am struggling to get icecast running with https, but I cannot get it working
My environment is: Debian 10 (Buster)
I tried the standard debian package but there is no SSL capability at all.
So I compiled the icecast-2.4.4.tar.gz contents with ./configure --with-curl --with-openssl; make; make install
I always get the error: [2020-02-05 17:35:36] INFO connection/get_ssl_certificate

redirect
Hi,
I have an Nginx http proxy server with SSL. What I want to do is:
If a client that has a certificate is trying to access the server's
address, he is to be redirected to our production server, to certain URL.
If a client doesn't have a certificate, he is to be redirected to the
same production server, but a different URL.
The problem is that if the client doesn't have a

mongrel and reverse proxy security
Hi,
It seems that webrick cannot handle too much client and that luke is
making mongrel the ''default'' server to use so i wanted to switch to
mongrel. Then i read that i cannot use directly mongrel like webrick
because it does not speak SSL.
So my issue is : how to be sure things stay secure in the way that the
proxy should be the one speaking ssl and making client ssl

slight security problem
Hey,
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.
I''m using thin+puppetmasterd+nginx. If i add a host, sign it''s key,
run puppetd successfully on it all is good, as expected. If i then
revoke/clean the key on the master server, leave the box running,
startup another host set the hostname to be the same as the old,
generate new keys/have them signed. The original box is still

Toward a simple Nginx configuration for Puppet Mongrel
Hi,
I''ve created two Nginx patches (see at the end of this message) to allow
a simpler Nginx configuration for your Mongrel puppetmasters.
The two main issues with Nginx in front of puppet were:
* no CRL support
* no optional certificate verification (and thus we''re forced to have
two separate configs on two different ports, and to use --ca_port).
Now, it is as simple as

CentOS 7, selinux issue
I'm seeing a lot of noise in the logs, to the effect of:
setroubleshoot: SELinux is preventing /bin/ksh93 from write access on the
directory /var/lib/ssh-x509-auth
as well as others related to find, cat, etc on .pem's in that directory.
Is this a policy bug, or just no policy covering this?

REQUEST: Different port(protocol) should be able to use a different certification.
Hello,
I want to use a different certificate for a different port(protocol).
I searched http://wiki.dovecot.org/ and the mail archives. But such
mechanism were not found.
Could you implement a such mechanism?
Or already implemented it, please teach how to do.
I am assuming the following situations.

Fallback stream not preventing a disconnect
Hi Erwin,
Not sure if this might be related. Not sure if you are connecting the
fallback to another stream or to just a file. If it is a file, then you
can get buffering issues because most clients have buffers they can fill
with minutes of audio. If you fall back to a file that is pushed towards
the client at once, it can push a few minutes of audio in just seconds.
If you set up a locally
