My Host
I need to get some absolute redirects working -- basically I set callback
hooks to external services, but I want these hooks to use my configured
CNAME''s. I''m trying to find a way so that my app doesn''t have to know
about these CNAME''s. So I''m looking at the request in the controller to
try and get the base URL where I''m running.

https stream play 1 second and stop
Thanks for your response Michel. I encode with Omnia AX/E Software so that it can be processed a bit and it has built in MP3 Encoders. I believe it is happening to all my streams, but I only use the mp3 codec. Was encouraged to hear that I wasn’t the only one having an issue and look forward to some trouble shooting thoughts. I do not build my own packages so whatever OpenSSL version is in

ICECAST and IRIX
Hello,
anyone using ICECAST (Nekoware) on IRIX 6.5.22?
I've setup nekoware compiled libs, icecast and ices on 6.5.22. ICES is
version 2.0.0 and ICECAST is 2.3.1
I cannot stream a playlist from a txt file. I always hear the same 2-3

what exactly does close_dir option do?
I''m trying to figure out if I should be setting close_dir to true or
false when I access my index. It seems like this has something to do
with the state that the index is left in after one process is finished
using it, but it''s not clear exactly what this does. Can anybody
explain further?
Thanks,
Carl

When exactly do I need R_alloc when using the .Call() interface?
Hi,
I am trying to implement an algorithm in C which will be called via the
.Call() interface.
While reading the 'Writing R Extension' manual, I stumbled upon the
R_alloc() function for allocating storage for C objects. The manual says
it should be used to allocate storage if an C object is needed/created
while manipulating R objects within a function called via the .Call()
interface.

system is exactly singular
Hi. I have a csv file. I imported it with
mydata<-read.table("C:/dataForR/radiology/WordFrequency.csv", header=TRUE,
sep=",")
> dim(mydata)
[1] 982 925
The first column had the doc numbers like doc1, doc2, etc. so I did
mydataNum<-mydata[,-1]
> dim(mydataNum)
[1] 982 924
The second to last column was also not numeric and so I did

Referencing exactly two models of the same kind
Hi,
how do I solve this in Rails: Lets say I have a User and a Message.
Now, a Message is sent from one User to another User, which means that
in the Message I have to reference a User twice!
This seems to be a problem, if I do not user one-to-many or many-to-
many relationships, because it seems to me as if I could reference a
Model of the same type only once.
However, I would like the Message

Live Migration and how exactly it works
Hello everybody!
I have a couple of questions regarding the live migration feature in
XEN. How exactly does it work? I have read in a paper on the Internet
that there are three phases of the live migration process:
1. Push phase: iteratively copy the memory of the VM from the old host
to the new host
2. Stop-and-copy phase: when XEN sees that there is a certain amount
of pages that get dirtied

Logging to see exactly all IMAP commands?
I was wondering if there is some additional logging that can be enabled to make
it possible to have Dovecot print all actual IMAP commands it receives in a
conversation?

What exactly does "notice: Finished catalog run in XX seconds" mean?
I see that line in the agent node''s log. Is that the time taken by the
Puppet Master to compile the manifests into a catalog? Or is that the rime
taken by the agent to "apply" the catalog on the node?
More specifically, I want to determine the exact time taken by the puppet
master to compile the catalog for a given node? Is that logged somewhere?

How exactly is datatype alignment determined?
Hi,
I'm seeing a bug in the AVR backend that seems to be caused by LLVM
thinking things will be aligned to 8 bytes whereas they are unaligned.
Specifically, MF->getDataLayout().getPrefTypeAlignment(Ty) returns 8 for
the following two types:
%opt = type { i8, [0 x i8], [3 x i8] }
%Machine = type { i16, [0 x i8], i16, [0 x i8], [16 x i8], [0 x i8] }
The target datalayout specifies that

Wait what? In clang? But my input is already LLVM IR.
MF->getDataLayout().getPrefTypeAlignment(Ty) must be basing its answer on
either something in the IR file, or in the target implementation, but
clang is not really in the picture.
