Hello,
I just finished installing gluster on two machines in server mode in EC2.
I have mounted it via fuse on one of the boxes. Here is my volume info:
# gluster volume info
Volume Name: fast
Type: Stripe
Status: Started
Number of Bricks: 2
Transport-type: tcp
Bricks:
Brick1: server1:/data2
Brick2: server2:/data
All of this works great, and I can write files at a fairly high throughput.

[LLVMdev] LLVM Google Summer Code project
Hi,
I'm sorry if this post sounds a little bit off-topic, I'm currently a
graduate student from Texas A&M University, and my major is computer
science. My research interests are in compiler construction and static
analysis. I heard Google Summer Code before, and I would like to
attend this cool program this year, because my interests, I really
would like broad my knowledge and

Summer student internship placement at University of York / YCCSA / SEI (paid)
Dear R-lings,
I did not know which list to post to, because it is a studentship so not
really a job, so it did not fit the r-sig-jobs list .... and it is about
devloping an extension package interfaced with R .... I hope I did not upset
anyone. If so apologies.

R-Google interface: Google summer of code
I use R for data management and ongoing data analysis for amongst other
things, a multi-center medical research project. I have found Google
spreadsheets to be a fantastic way for all collaborators to be on the same
page. Furthermore, Google Forms allows one to capture data from respondents
and effortlessly write it to a google spreadsheet.
Currently, one has to manually download the spreadsheet

I am greatly interested in adding new transformations and optimization
passes to the existing compiler - particularly the _value range
propagation_ or _predictive commoning_. Since coming across
