GSoC Introduction
Hi,
I am Benish Sherwani, an undergraduate from BK Birla Institute of
engineering and Technology - Pilani, currently pursuing Computer Science
and engineering. I will glad to be a part of the Icecast project. Looking
forward to contribute more to this project and do my GSoC 2015 under this
organisation. I found project for developing "Icecast configuration

have a look over package "imputeTestbench"
Hi Friends,
Have a look over R package "imputeTestbench". It provides a Test bench for
comparison of missing data imputation models/methods. It compares imputing
methods with reference to RMSE, MAE or MAPE parameters. It allows to add
new proposed methods to test bench and to compare with other methods. The
function 'append_method()' allows to add multiple numbers of methods to

The modification in PSF Package
Dear Researchers,
Have a look over updated *R package PSF*. Pattern Sequence Based
Forecasting (PSF) takes univariate time series data as input and assist to
forecast its future values. This algorithm forecasts the behavior of time

sem: S is numerically singular: expect problems
Dear Users,
I am a new user of the sem package.
I have a model that is being flagged by sem as "S is numerically singular:
expect problems"
I have checked John Fox's response to a similar problem. Obviously the
variance-covariance matrix is singular, but none of the possible reasons
seems to hold in my case.
Any leads how I could get the model to work?

[R-sig-Geo] How to extract coordinates values from a shapefile?
I'm not sure if this is what you want. But the function coordinates() in sp
package gives you the coordinates of SpatialObjects.
Regards.
Rodrigo.

Faced Problems with RODBC package 1.2-5 and 1.2-4 for windows
Hi,
I am facing problems with RODBC package 1.2-5 and 1.2-4 built for
windows. I am using R 2.8.1 version.
I faced some problems when I was trying to execute sql procedure
from R with exec/execute statement .
Stored procedure contains code/statements :
1) Call to another procedure (R calls one procedure which itself
calls another procedure)

LTO query
Hopefully someone else on the dev list who has experience with LNT and the
LLVM test-suite will chime in. I've never run it myself. Adding Mehdi since
he ran it with LTO/ThinLTO.
I found some documentation for the test-suite:
https://llvm.org/docs/TestingGuide.html#test-suite-overview
http://llvm.org/docs/lnt/quickstart.html

[LLVMdev] Un-inlining functions?
I found a book on this (http://www.amazon.com/Automatic-Algorithm-
Recognition-Replacement-Optimization/dp/0262133687) on Amazon.
Last I heard this was considered an intractable problem in the
general case... but ad hoc solutions for specific functions
(like memcpy) are possible. That book looks fairly promising.

[LLVMdev] LowerCALL (TargetLowering)
Hi Nickhil,
The Legalizer expects lower'd call is the node that produce the same
number of values as the non-lowered node. That's what the assertion
is checking.
Take a look at the LowerCall routine for any other targets. You will
see that in the non-void function case, it returns a MERGE_VALUES,
i.e. all the results merged along with the chain.
Cheers,
Evan
