icecast-2.3.99.3
Yes. I'm running The 2.3.99.3 win32 version.
And if you can to provide the " mime.types " and " crossdomain.xml " files
by yourself it will be great.
TNX!

It is possible to ask the development team of icecast to implement a solution for that?
Something like – "if the same IP pulling the stream over X instances for X time" to kick him?
I believe im not the only one that having that issue from time to time…

Not a big issue.

I don't know if it's a bug of the player, or a case of abusing.
The situation is "flooding" of the server,
the same listener connected to ICE in multiple instances,
and using "real" bandwidth (e.g 128K x 30)!
how do you handle this situation on your servers?

The side effect of <audio> is also a bandwidth usage? linear to the amount of "fake" listeners?

For more than 10 years until now im using Shoutcast 1.9.5/1.9.8 win32 on my

Now im changing to ice 2.4.2.
The flexibility of the ice is great.
but, because of the things that "hidden" from the eye im little bit afraid
to make changes that will be dramatic for the listeners.
So, for the

Hi,
Yes I aware to the NAT possibility,

I'm pretty sure that its individual listener/IP.
I deleted the Access log files, but in the next time that I will catch similar situation again,
I will complete the investigation.

Hi,
There is a way to increase the source buffer?
(Not the buffer from icecast to listener, the buffer from the encoder to
server)
Thnx.

Icecast can stream proprietary codecs in pass-through mode. We are not
fans of that though.

Thank you all.
Except from the buffering it was the fact that I used "localhost" instead of
127.0.0.1 in the proxy_pass.
Now my configuration is:
location /stream1/ {
proxy_buffering off;
proxy_ignore_client_abort off;
proxy_intercept_errors on;
proxy_next_upstream error timeout invalid_header;

A little question,
What is the "price" for NOT advertising a station in the YP ?
Except from not showing your station in the icecast directory, there is
something else?

Mixture of Univariate Normals
Dear list,
Can anyone provide a package or code for estimating the parameters of a
mixture of c (c >=2) univariate normal distributions?
I've tried the algorithm provided by Venables & Ripley (1999) p 263, for
the mixture of two normal, but I don't find the "ms" function in R. I've
used nls instead, but I'm not sure if it works the same.

EnableFastISel
Hi,
In SelectionDAGISel::SelectAllBasicBlocks
if (TM.Options.EnableFastISel)
FastIS = TLI->createFastISel(*FuncInfo, LibInfo);
followed by
if (!FastIS) {
LowerArguments(Fn);
} else {
The above implies that implementing FastIS is optional.
In contrast to that, testing whether FastIS is actually been used is
done by testing if TM.Options.EnableFastISel is set.

Aranda-Ornaz links for binary data
Hi,
I would like apply different link functions from Aranda-Ordaz (1981)
family to large binary dataset (n = 2000). The existing links in glm for
binomial data (logit, probit, cloglog) are not adequate for my data, and I
need to test some other transformations.
Is it possible to do this in R? And how?
Thank you for your help,
