source questions & intentions to patch: yp-timing & auth
Good Day, Looking at the SVN repo: there's 30+ commits since the 2.6.2 release; the last one from August 2009. Are there any intentions to roll a release anytime soon? Are there any more recent branches? I'm currently looking into extending icecast2 (more below) and am wondering if I should base the patches on 2.6.2+debian-fixes or work from svn-trunk? We are using a cluster of icecast

Forcing an ID on all mountpoints
I'm looking for a way to tag my live feeds via an audio announcement every 30 minutes or so using the Linux install of Icecast. Some of the feeds I control locally, and other feeds are from remote locations - so implimenting this must be as painless as possible for each encoding location. As of now, the best way I can think of to do this is by running 2 instances of Icecast. Allowing the

Icecast 2.3.2 doesn't list all mount points
Hello, I've upgraded from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2. I've been used to list all mount points by <xsl:for-each select="source"/> under /icestats. Howver now the /icestats elemets contains only source elemets which have been requested at least once. That means the list (e.g. /stats.xsl under web directory) is empty after server start. I've found out this regresion presents only

Nonblocking connect is not proprly checked in poll implementation
Hello, I found a bug in Icecast-2.3.2. SVN trunk is affected either. The problem lies in src/net/sock.c: sock_connected() function. This function is used to check status of socket after nonblocking connect(2) and it has two implementations: select(2) and poll(2). The select branch does the right job---it gets socket status by getsockopt(2) after selecting for write. But the poll branch does not.
