[PATCH] global port forwarding restriction
Here's another patch for people providing ssh access to restricted
environments.
We allow our users to use port forwarding when logging into our mail
servers so that they can use it to fetch mail over an encrypted channel
using clients that don't support TLS, for example fetchmail. (In fact,
fetchmail has built-in ssh support.) However we don't want them connecting

If free space on a drive is available at time of installation, CentOS will let you install itself into it, and it will even offer to put its boot

Hello
Too bad caster.fm only supports MP3 format for their free service:
"Caster.fm free service allow streaming in MP3, other codec
(aac, aac+,ogg) will result in a ban from Caster.fm."

[PATCH nbdkit 9/9] tests/old-plugins: Add plugin from nbdkit 1.18.2.
This is significant because it's a plugin which was from the last
stable release containing undefined symbols (in the internal plugins).

Winamp v5.22 / oddcast / aac+
Pockect pc phones can use beta player that will play aac+ streams.
http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about
For symbian there is this:
http://opensource.nokia.com/projects/s60internetradio/index.html that
will stream aac+
Im a pocket pc person so don't ask me about symbian stuff. ;-)

Frauenhofer signing off on mp3, ogg stream player for Macs?
I must say this is a very confusing issue.
I generate AAC+ on an open source system which downloaded some code
during installation from the 3GPP source.
It appears the encoding software is being freely distributed, and
hardware which decodes the stream pays a licence fee at point of
manufacture.
We have such hardware. In a number of locations. One brand has AAC+
only, not AAC.
I note VLC

That only applies to the source code. You still need to license

add AAC+ file header to new streams
hate to burst the "collective sigh of relief" bubble, but Flash's HTTP-based
streaming within their player is horribly broken. First off, in order to
get it to even *stream*, you need to fake the content-length in the initial
response header. Seemingly innocent at first, what this, in fact, does is
cause the player to download that much data, regardless of "playstate".

Winamp v5.22 / oddcast / aac+
Something else, Greg. Are you aware of any 3G / 2.5G (EDGE) clients for
mobile phones that support AAC+ streaming? Be it java or symbian based.
Thanks
Alex

Winamp v5.22 / oddcast / aac+
Ok, it's not as bad as I thought. With some investigation and
discussion with a "Major Dude" in the Winamp forums, it appears to be a
bug in Winamp v5.22 with streams that end with the mountpoint extension
.aac. I changed the mountpoint to end with .aacp and now it works fine.

Ross.

Ezstream and AAC+ ?
Hi
I'm new to this list, so please forgive me if I ask a dumb question!
I know that AACplus is a dirty word here but....
I'm trying to make comparisons between live streams of OGG and AACplus at
different bitrates. The only way I've found of streaming AAC+ so far from
Linux is by running Winamp under wine and sending this to my Icecast2
server. This sort of works, but is hardly

converting mp3's to aac+ or ogg
For archiving from source media (CD usually) to flac? I typically use
EAC either from Windows or Wine as it allows for the most configuration.
Off the top of my head I think Sound Juicer will do it for *nix, though
there are probably others that work just as well.

http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#brokengcc lists documented

[LLVMdev] LLVM Hello Pass load error when using opt -load Hello.so
I'm running into a completely different problem. When I do:
opt -load LowerFastInvoke.o -help
I get the message:
Error opening 'LowerFastInvoke.o': LowerFastInvoke.o: only ET_DYN and
ET_EXEC can be loaded?
Am I missing something?

It's really pretty simple.
You can download the code and build it all you want... ...for yourself.
It cannot be distributed, sold, or used commercially in any way.
That's all.
