Asterisk <-> Lync / Call Center Transfer / Refer
Hey all, Alright. So we decided to not go with Avaya for our next PBX and we are now full on into an Asterisk/Lync 2010 implementation. Asterisk/FreePBX is our SIP gateway and call center and Lync is our internal UC and IP-PBX server. I've already got Asterisk tied with our Nortel/Merridian Option 11 with QSig and all is beautiful (except for the Opt11 not receiving names from * but

Problem with LDA. When vacation auto-reply sent, the field from=<>.
Hi, My problem is that when vacation auto-reply sent the field from=<> Because of this does not work "sender_dependent_relayhost_maps" in postfix. My scheme is: There are several postfix on different machines 1.1.1.1 - domain1 2.2.2.2 - domain2 3.3.3.3 - domain3 All they send messages to one server virtual_transport = lmtp:10.10.10.10:24 where mail is stored. Asterisk to Cisco 2600 GW DTMF Not Working
Hi All, I have Asterisk 1.2.9.1 sending SIP calls to a Cisco 2620XM Router with a PRI card in it, handing off to a PBX and vise verse. Calls in and out are working fine except for DTMF from Asterisk to the 2600. DTMF from the 2600 to Asterisk is fine. Here are the Asterisk console warnings I get when I send DTMF from Asterisk to the 2600: == Forcing Marker bit, because SSRC has changed Jun

sed
Not specific to CentOS but I know you guys would be really helpful anyhow. Basically, I have a file which has been editted in the past very similarly to the hosts file only now I want to use it as a hosts file and need to run some fancy sed to massage the data into shape. Currently, the data in the file is in the form of <ip address> <tab> <short hostname> <space>

sppp device not routing ? (need help)
Ok, I''m hoping this is a fairly trivial issue, and I''m missing something. I''m trying to use Solaris zones (Nevada Build 117) to act as a DMZ and a router, using exclusive IPs, VNICs (from Crossbow), and connecting to the internet (static IP from my ISP). I''ve got the DMZ working - that zone sees the internet, can do name lookups, ftp, telnet, ssh, etc etc etc.

Why Asterisk doesn't accept sip302 redirect?
My asterisk should follow 302 redirect which it receives from other sip server(10.10.10.10). By running network sniffer I see, that asterisk receives 302 answer, but doesn't follow it. My config is: sip.conf: ....... [out4] type=peer host=10.10.10.10 canreinvite=no promiscredir=yes insecure=very disallow=all allow=g729 allow=g723 ....... extensions.conf: [to-sip] exten => _0011X., 1,

I have also not been able to resolve it myself so I am asking here with hope that someone can straighten me out. I am using ip to do multisource policy routing or two connections to the internet. I have a linksys wrt54gs route which connects two machines by wire through the switch and three
