CVS changes
To all CVS users of ices 0.x: I've just merged the ices-libshout_2 branch onto HEAD. Anyone using that branch should switch back to HEAD to continue to get the latest updates. This also means you now need the latest version of libshout2 from CVS in order to build ices from CVS. libshout2: :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.xiph.org:/usr/local/cvsroot libshout ices:

timing_sleep malfunctioning under MinGW
Hi, I have successfully gotten the libshout-2.0 release to compile under gcc/MingGW ('gcc -mno-cygwin', version 'gcc (GCC) 3.3.1 (cygming special)'), after applying Leigh Smith's patches as posted on this list (http://www.xiph.org/archives/icecast-dev/0660.html). I have then generated a dll and wrapped it in JNI using the stubs from libshout-java

Anonymous cvs access
With Tony Rossini's help we have established anonymous CVS access to a read-only copy of the main R CVS tree at cvs.r-project.org. This would be of interest primarily to those who want to track the development version (and who have access to CVS, of course). To use anonymous cvs you must log in to the server under the name "anoncvs" and with the password "anoncvs". You

dumpfile with libshout2/icecast2
Heyas, I'm trying to get setDumpfile working with the java libshout bindings. I am calling shout_set_dumpfile(shout,char*) after specifying the port, host, mount and password, yet, the dumpfile is not created on the server side. To be more specific, I'm trying this: bin/streamAdmin -d /tmp/test.mp3 -h streams.benow.ca -p 80 -P pass -m /benow which sets the dumpfile to be /tmp/test.mp3

Re [ogg]
I get the following message: configure: error: xslt-config could not be found When I did the cvs it stopped at: U timing/timing.h Should I have waited for a like really long time for something to update during the cvs download? Also I assume: cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@xiph.org:/usr/local/cvsroot -z 9 co icecast is the icecast2 server? Thanks for your help. Maybe I need something installed

Using icecast2 with MP3 problems
I've downloaded and compiled icecast from cvs and the ices-0.2.3 from the download area for MP3 support.. (I'd use ogg, except I have 1000's of mp3. I'll re-rip them, but not today) 8) Is there a particular version of the icecast2 server that works w/ the ices-0.2.3 I'm using? I'm having difficulty getting the two to communicate. >From ices, I get the errors: Error
