does IceCast & listeners logging
Hello,
I'm working on a project of a commercial webradio. I need to register everytime somebody listens to my radio : when the stream
begins, when it ends, the IP.
But in the file access.log, there are many GETs from my listeners, before it streams, during, after, and so on.
ShoutCast does it as I want but I wanna use IceCast in order to stream Ogg Vorbis !
I feel that the logging module

does IceCast & listeners logging
Thanks for your answer Chris.
Nevertheless I just can't see the event you're talking about in my access.log file. I mean the time of the end of listening for each
user and the amount of bytes transfered !
Maybe because I'm just a beginner in IceCast... Could you give me an example of a log file (just a part) that shows this
notification ?
For example on my ShoutCast log tells me :

Icecast Logging
I have some questions about Icecast logging...
How close is Icecast logging to the Apache logging format? Can you customize
the output options like Apache?
We've used several tools to process our Icecast logs in the past, including
Webalizer and Urchin. Urchin seems to report some slightly erroneous data.
What have others used for processing Icecast's access.log file?

parsing icecast 1 and icecast2 logs in GUI web format
I know this was mentioned some time back, but I am curious if anyone has
had any further success with this. My radio station is looking for a
nice clean comprehensive overview of all connections to our icecast 1
and 2 servers. Someone had tweaked the webalizer program to render all
the stats in a nice GUI format. However, there were still a couple items
missing.
Just wondering what everyone else

9.6p1 test suite help
Hi OpenSSH,
I'm working on updating Guix's openssh package definition to the latest
release. So far, I have only changed the version (and checksum) and left
the build/test/install recipe the same. However, the test suite now fails.
I could use some pointers to find out what exactly is going wrong with the
failing test or how to fix it. I'm happy to provide more information about

Test failure on ARM: backtrace_append
Hi,
I am a packager in Guix and user of dovecot on an ARM server (armhf). The Guix package fails to build because of a test error (see the last lines of the full build log: https://ci.guix.gnu.org/log/f5if2qb5rsqag3a6jy5vga1l9hm9pkj0-dovecot-2.3.9.3). As the name suggests, this is dovecot 2.3.9.3, the latest version. Previous versions built fine, as well as the same version on x86 and x86_64.

Icecast logging
Hi Guys,
My first post here so hello to all :-))
Anyway, my question: Does anybody know if there is a tool out there that can
process the icecast log files and return a graph of listener numbers over a
set period?
I'd like to be able to know when our most busiest time was.
Thanks very much in advance,
Andy

Strange change in icecast kh14 for IP logging
Hello,
Karl, you added a compile-time flag to enable IP logging in icecast.
But, this changed a lot the log procuded:

Webalizer for streams
Hello,
last night, I worked to make a new version of webalizer for streams.
I put some info and example here:
http://radio.stalig.com:443/stats/webalizer/index.html
If you are interested... It's not finished (yearly stats are not ready), but monthly and daily stats are fine.
I'll try to have it integrated to regular webalizer version.

Webalizer displays wrong year
I just run webalizer manually on an Apache log, like I have done many times
before. Some new statistics were created, but for "August 2006" instead of
"August 2008". I cannot figure why!
Because of my mistake, the webalizer statistics for this site have not been
updated since February. Now I tried to update them for the first time - with
the results I described above.

Webalizer and GeoIP?
I have a small problem with webalizer. I use it to analyze logs of a small web
server hosting a single site, and the only thing I am interested in from
webalizer is the piechart diagram it produces about the geographic
distribution of people visiting the site.
However, the piechart it produces gives me a very crude information, with 50%
or so of visitors belonging to "unresolved",

Site statistics
Hey,
I was wondering what everyone else does in regards to getting
webalizer or other site statistics software to work with mongrel.
I currently have a mongrel cluster running behind apache 2.2
with proxy_mod_balancer, but I"m finding that webalizer isn''t
too thrilled with that mod.
Thanks,

logging rsync transfers in processable format
For my rsync daemon, I would like it to log in a format that I could run
some stats on, eg by webalizer that I use for http and ftp transfers.
Is that doable?
