But the source computer runs the other os, so I don't have too much choice as to what I can do and the timeout problems remain with mp3 as well. The persons involved don't want to use .ogg for now so that is also not an option. Hi, I have the following problem with icecast2: I send a stream for some time. Then the source disconnects (maybe just by abruptly dropping the network connection), and I reconnect immediately. As I said ogg is not an option here, what I am trying to find out is whether this is an icecast problem which it certainly seems to be, or what else might be going on. Hello folks I'm having trouble playing ogg streams with WinAmp3. I run Icecast2 & Ices2 (both compiled from CVS about two weeks ago) on a Linux box, the files being streamed were encoded with oggenc (from oggutils1.0, managed 80kbitrate...)
