Fwd: Patch to icecast2
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Mike, I think you dealing with the development. Almost a year ago I've sent few patches to Jack, several of them are already applied to the current version. I'm back again, and tested the last version. I noticed it isn't as resilient to network congestion as my last patched version (just disconnect the ethernet cable of

Icecast2?
Hi all, I am ricardo galli, I've juscribed just a couple of days ago. I wanted to stay as a lurker for a longer period, but this list has almost no traffic, so I wake up due to the silence. The point is, is this list related to icecast2 development? I made some changes to the server and sent a patch to Jack Moffitt, but I'm not sure he's still mainaining the server. If he

Any buffering on server?
Hi, Thanks Mike. So is there any buffering done on the server, or is it all on the client? i.e. when a server first connects, does it get a "burst" of packets until it catches up to the current time? Thanks, Martin --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to

You can try it (48 KB of startup buffers) at: http://mcrg.uib.es:8000/live.ogg and http://mcrg.uib.es:8000/high.ogg The only think I'm still not very convinced is that clients has to

No source buffering
There appears no source buffering in Icecast 2.0. Please correct me if I'm wrong -- my C skills are a bit rusty -- it looks like apart from a tiny 4K buffer, there is no buffering done when relaying a source. Is this an explicit design decision? The Internet being what it is, unreliable and all, it seems harsh to drop a source that's even slightly lagging, when a bit of buffering could

[PATCH] --timelimit and --stopat
Greetings, Upon a suggestion to improve the --timelimit patch, I have also added a --stopat option. You can get the patch from this URL and/or cut/paste it from below. http://www.terry.uga.edu/~jft/rsync-timelimit-stopat.patch.gz Here are the details... --timelimit=T This option allows you to specify the maximum number of minutes rsync will run for. This time starts when

Sweave and accents
Hello. I want to write my notes in Sweave in my own language (spanish). But my language has accents and when I run Sweave in R to translate my Snw file into the tex file the accents are translated into unrecognizable characters. For example, the word "cami?n" (truck) is translated into "cami??n" Somebody knows how can I do it? One solution I don't like is using a

compute the associate vector of distances between leaves in a binary non-rooted tree
Hello. I'd like to compute the associate vector of distances between leaves in a binary non-rooted tree. The definition of a distance between two leaves in a binary non-rooted tree is the number of edges in the path joining the two leaves. I've tried the ape package but I'm unable to find this vector. For example, using rtree(5,rooted=F) I've obtained the following tree: $edge

functions pandit and treebase in the package apTreeshape
Hello. I'm trying to use the functions pandit and treebase. They are in the package apTreeshape. Once I've loaded the package, R responses: - no function pandit/treebase. Somebody knows why or what is the reason? Thanks, Arnau. ------------------------------------------------------------ Arnau Mir Torres Edifici A. Turmeda Campus UIB Ctra.
