switch a source, idea?
That all depends on your source client capabilities and how well you
could automate that task. I'd think ices2 would be a pretty good route
as it is scriptable. You could just use different config files with the
necessary configuration for each scenario.
You can temporarily move listeners from mountpoint to mountpoint within
the admin interface, but that's a temporary thing afaik. Not

After I enabled SSL, stream mountpoints broke
Philipp,
Thank you for your quick response. I can't believe that I didn't think of
that...I guess I just assumed that it would use SSL. I'm using Liquidsoap
as my source client. Once you brought that up I started researching
whether there was a way to force Liquidsoap to use SSL and from what I
found it doesn't look like there is an option...but please correct me if

After I enabled SSL, stream mountpoints broke
I'm running Icecast package 2.4.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 from ttp://
download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/dm8tbr/xUbuntu_14.04.
I've been running on this server for about 6 months now without any issue
and all my streams run great. This icecast server is running on the same
host that my wordpress site is running on. This is all on my own private
server, not a hosting service.

Configure Ubuntu Server 16.04 for icecast2
Hi all,
First of all, thank you for supporting us.
I've installed Libretime (https://github.com/LibreTime/libretime) which
user Icecast2 on Ubuntu Server 16.04.
I've also developed a mobile application to listen to stream
myhost:8000/mount.
My problem is when the number of listeners increases up 500 (On live
streaming with butt), the application blockes, and I hardly get info from

Yes. It's the constructor that generates the undefined symbol error.
We use DynamicLibrary::LoadLibraryPermanently(nullptr) to add process
symbols.

Orc JIT vs. STL
Greetings, LLVM wizards.
We are using Clang and Orc JIT (v1) to compile and execute C++ code on the
fly. If a C++ module calls functions from external libraries, we add them
via DynamicLibrary::LoadLibraryPermanently().
The problem we have run into recently is when a module calls a function
from the STL -- in particular this swap() function for input streams:
#include <fstream>

You can add symbols from Archieve via StaticLibrarySearchGenerator. But it
is added recently though

i was using multiple ports because that's how i figured i'd have to do
it.
o, mounting the remote source locally? i'm not familiar with how to do
this. i'm also not seeing how to do this in the docs.
how would i go about mounting a remote stream?

mixer input for icecast
hello,
i'm looking for a mixer application as source for icecast. the app
should be scriptable, e.g. it should take 2 or 3 input channels (files)
at various volume levels and downmix it to one source stream for icecast.
pretty much the same as a normal mixer does, but i want to control it by
a kind of predefined timeline. any idea anybody?
thanks, uno

Now playing (PHP example)
Hi all,
Basically there's my question in the subject. I need a simple example
of now playing artist, song, and listeners. Can somebody write it down
for me?
I tried so many ways to do this task, but nothing worked for me.

Stream fallbacks/spillovers/splashing
Okay, a quick question,
I've got IceCast 2.3.1 setup on a demo server, And I've got some wierd
behavior going on...
Here's the behavior:
I have my constant feed always running on mountpoint: /switch
I have my main stream broadcasting: /stream
someone connects to an alternate named stream: /krushradio
They pull all the listeners from /switch and /stream to their stream.

html5/js source client?
hello,
now that html5 audio becomes usable in some browsers, for example
http://webaudiodemos.appspot.com/AudioRecorder/index.html ...
has anybody thought about to implement a web based source client
for icecast? that's for now beyond my coding skills, unfortunately...
thx, uno
