Release of libigloo, version 0.9.1
Good morning,
the Icecast Project is very pleased to have released the next version
of libigloo, version 0.9.1.
libigloo is a generic C framework which provides us with a common space
for helpers and support routines for other Icecast Project's software.
However it can also be used outside of Icecast context.
The new version 0.9.1 comes with a lot of updates:
* Several fixes.

It is a good place to look at. As well as taking a look at the FAQ:

You define the same listen port 3 times. Also your hostname is not set
to a hostname but an IP.
You also set max clients to 5000. Which is fine for Icecast. However
your OS may add additional restrictions.
Why do you define a

How to make the playlist repeat
Good afternoon,
I have two playlists going, on separate mount points, and they both
exhibit this behavior. It appears that ices is shutting down when it
reaches the end of the playlist. I'm getting these same four lines at
the end of the logs of both playlists:
[2019-12-08 00:00:53] INFO playlist-builtin/write_ogg_data module
shutdown requested

appearing in Icecast directory when changing stream provider
Dear community,
My webradio is currently appearing in Icecast directory there
http://dir.xiph.org/search?search=onstreet
I didn't do it It surely was done directly by my streaming provider
radionomy. In radionomy I have access to nothing but the stream link
http://listen.radionomy.com/onstreet
The thing is we are leaving radionomy for another stream provider. How to

Icecast relay crash.
Hi,
I am using icecast 2.3.2 and I'm not in position to upgrade the version
right away since this version is already in use. Please let me know if you
need any additional details for this issue. Nevertheless if there is any
potential fix has gone towards this part of code in later versions, I can
just use that patch in my current code base.
Also I'll try to catch up on Freenode but

JSON response track title not encoded to UTF8
Good evening to you too,
From the <ip-address>:8000/server_version.xsl , I get that the installed icecast2 version is 2.4.4.
The source client I am currently is Mixxx version 2.2.4 - for Windows 64bit.
Would you say I should redirect my question to the support team of the Mixxx program ?
If you would like any more info, please feel free to ask. I appreciate your help and patience.

Load balancing Icecast - aggregated logs
Good afternoon Philipp
Many thanks for your reply.
Sorry for not being clear.
I think the problem I have would be in the implementation.
How do I run two versions of Icecast on two servers, with load balancing
between the two (perhaps using RR-DNS), but I present my client with one
unified log file for the audience statistics? Should the two servers write
their logs via a network file share to

Icecast relay crash.
Thanks Philipp.
I agree with you, this looks like some buffer overrun issue. I know I'm
using a very old version of icecast software but still I am asking is there
any kind of workaround to this problem apart from upgrading the icecast
version (which is the last option).
Running Valgrind may help to capture the root cause, any thoughts?
BTW what's the latest stable version of icecast?
