Using butt in same mount point that is used for relay
Hello.
We are using icecast to relay a radio station on local network and I have a question: There is a way to send streaming from a mic (with butt) using same mount point that we are using for relay? Or some workaround for it like using fallback mount point?
Azuracast can do it but the software have some bugs (in general usage) and I need a more fast solution for now....
Best regards.

Another code to drop factor levels
I apologize if this is not appropriate for this mailing list.
In R, there is already functionality to drop unused factor levels. However, I am proposing the code below that I wrote. In some occasions, it was faster than applying function 'factor'. In any case, there is no restriction for anyone to use the code below.
droplevels2 <- function(x) {
if (is.null(levels(x)))
stop("no

Hi there
Relay is the answer! Have not tried this but makes logically sense.
Best regards

?include binstubs in version control
I am using rbenv. Just a quick question:
Is it good practice to include binstubs in version control?
I have looked at the binstubs created; they look pretty harmless.

Limit number of connections
Hello again,
I have a router/nat linux box. I managed to create some HTB classes and
everything is OK.
When perople are usig download managers like FlashGet and DAP (multiple
connection ones), the ceil limiting works okay,
but the rate parameter is somehow useles... The guaranteed bandwidth is
never reached.
So what can I do to limit the number of connections/computer?
I want to make sure that

SSL Setup
I use Let's Encrypt for SSL with icecast. Here is my rudimentary script on GitHub... It does NOT require Apache or nginx.

IceCast 2.3.x v. 2.4.x connections? Difference?
Hi there,
Icecast 2.4 introduced the « PUT » HTTP method for sources, which is not supported by Icecast 2.3 (that uses the legacy « SOURCE » method).
This may explain why your piece of software works with Icecast 2.4 but not with 2.3.
You should find relevant lines regarding this issue in your Icecast 2.3 logfiles.
