Cannot update xiph repository
Hi Damian
The main reason for this issue is the expired Multimedia signing key expired for openSUSE OBS Multimedia – aka xiph repository. The documentation has not been updated as mentioned in Step 2 : https://wiki.xiph.org/index.php?title=Icecast_Server/Installing_latest_version_(official_Xiph_repositories)

Cannot update xiph repository
Hi,
I apologise for the naiveness of this question, but I experienced an error when running apt-get update on Debian 9.
It’s telling me that it can’t update the xiph repository.
Not sure if I should be asking for help about this here, but if not… please let me know where I should take this issue.
Any help is appreciated.
Damian

Running version 2.5 beta as a service
Hi,
When installing Icecast2 (stable) on Debian9 using ATP packet manager, we need to go into /etc/default/icecast and enable the init.d script with ENABLE=true if we want to run Icecast as a service.
I?ve been playing with icecast 2.5 beta installed from source and obviously this means things are located in different places. I would like to know if it is also possible to run this version as a

About current Icecast development
Good morning,
Icecast development has been a bit quiet to the outside world recently.
However there is a lot of movement. Today I would like to tell you about
a few new things in Icecast 2.5.x. Icecast 2.5.x is the current
development branch. (We recommend to use our stable releases (2.4.x) for
production.)
Here are a few new things that have been implement recently. This list

About current Icecast development -- developer edition
Good afternoon,
earlier today I wrote a mail to the user mailing list about current
status of the current development. As pointed out by Mr. Rücker, it
seems to be good to also write to this list with a bit more technical
details.
Please note that this mail represents current master branch ("2.5.x").
We do recommend to use current stable branch ("2.4.x") for production.

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for clarifying. I’m generally okay with how to do this now. I really appreciate your time and patience.

Hi,
This thread seems to have stalled. Would anyone still be able to help me with this one? I?ve posted my log as requested.
Any advice would be a great help.

It is a good place to look at. As well as taking a look at the FAQ:

The endpoint is meant to be a replacement for /status-json.xsl which it
deprecates.

Thanks Marvin and Thomas,
After Marvin updated the key, I tried again (without having to use Thomas’ suggested workaround). All is working properly again.
Thanks for the help guys 🙏

Icecast SSL endpoint timeout issue
Hi team,
Please accent my apologies if this is NOT the place/distro list to be
raising this. I had major dramas with the standard forum - registration and
decided this may be a better route.
My current instance icecast server has been built with --with-curl
--with-openssl options as outlined within this post:

version is

Question on CAR appendix on NLS
The PDF file on the web, which is an appendix on nonlinear regression
associated with the CAR book, is very nice.
When I ran through the code presented there, I found something
odd. The code does a certain model in 3 ways: Vanilla NLS (using
numerical differentation), Analytical derivatives (where the user
supplies the derivatives) and analytical derivatives (using automatic
differentiation). The

Public stats on beta
Yeeek. That?s a lot of options :)
As someone who is pretty savvy but has only ever left Icecast authentication at the defaults, are there any examples, as I need to get it turned off pretty quickly.
Also, as there is no ?publicstats? in the admin dir, I?m guessing it is aliased somewhere. A grep finds:

help with breaking loops used to fit covariates in nlme model building procedure
Dear All
I'm attempting to speed up my model building procedure, but need some help with the loops I've created...please bear with me through the explanation!
My basic model call is something like:
m0sulf.nlme<-nlme(conc~beta0*exp(-beta1*day)+beta2*exp(-beta3*day),
data=m0sulf,
fixed=(beta0+beta1+beta2+beta3~1),
