Your query has actually been answered more than once. You don't need to define mounts in the icecast.xml file, the source clients (which connect to icecast and stream music to it) define the mount point by virtue of connecting to it. I use liquadsoap as a source client, and I set the mount point in liquadsoap to "jake-radio.mp3" like this: -------- 8< --------

Hi Wayne Yep, HLS is something we would like to use with Icecast. As you mentioned, Liquidsoap made a great step in the right direction if it comes to HLS. It seem that icecast might not get this support soon, as you might read in the discussion list. I don?t share these arguments, because we have real world use cases (we have many of them) where we would like use icecast with HLS support.

No, this is a relay of a Shoutcast server. Everything is configured in https on IceCast ( https://relay2.dgnet.be/ ) , except this value listenurl ( in Admin / Mountpoint) which in cannot change apparently.
