OPUS/FLAC Metadata
Anyone know any workarounds for OPUS/FLAC metadata on IceCast? I’ve monitored my inbound stream and this is working correctly (or at least the formatting and data for the OPUS stream is identical to the MP3/AAC+ streams). I see people with OPUS streams and metadata but they may not be using IceCast. Is it safe to assume we’ll see this in the next version? Rick

Event Triggers on 2.5 beta1
Wonderful, thanks Marvin. I especially like the kartoffelsalat tag! (Though sadly it will change, as you mentioned.) I understand the ?type? argument, but I?m still unsure about the second argument ?trigger'. Is there a list of available triggers? Thanks again, Rob > On 17 Mar 2015, at 14:08, Marvin Scholz <epirat07 at gmail.com> wrote: > > An event can have two arguments:

Event Triggers on 2.5 beta1
Hello, I?d like to use the new event triggers in 2.5, but the docs haven?t been updated yet. I?ve managed to gather from the source that the config xml needs to contain an ?event? node with a ?trigger? attribute, but I don?t know what the trigger options are. Anyone used this or have any idea? Cheers, Rob Stanford

zaptel-1.4.0-beta2 Getting it to compile on Fedora Core 6 _64bit
I keep running into the dead end that it can't find config.h in the source tree. It looks like newer kernels don't use it anymore. Someone ran into this awhile back when compiling 1.2 and it looks as though the issue was never resolved. Any ideas? Last time I tried this, I was on fedora core 5 64bit and all went well. It's not working on this newer setup Any ideas on what I can do

1.0.beta2 released
I had originally thought that I'd do a complete audit of the Dovecot's sources this weekend, but looks like I didn't. Hopefully I've been writing good enough code that the "1000 EUR for security hole" offer lasts for a long time. :) This release should fix the SSL parameter regeneration problem. There were two changes that were needed to fix it, but I had forgotten the

comparison of beta2 and beta3 encoder quality
Hi, I encoded some songs into 350 kbit/s with beta2 and beta3 too, and I don't know why, but it seems the b2 sounds better (makes a better quality ogg file)... The b2 contains more the b3 contains less high sounds. And with the b3, the size of file is smaller with 4-5%... Do you know this problem, or do you think so, that the sound quality is good (or better in the b3) ?? Please be carefull

http://dovecot.org/releases/2.0/beta/dovecot-2.0.beta2.tar.gz http://dovecot.org/releases/2.0/beta/dovecot-2.0.beta2.tar.gz.sig I tried to keep the configuration and APIs compatible with v2.0.beta1, but unfortunately there were a few things that really had to be changed: 1. passdbs and userdbs have now a separate "driver" setting inside them. 1.4 beta2 on intel mac
Has anyone built and run asterisk 1.4 beta2 on an intel mac? Did it work? I've got it building ok (once I installed Xcode, wget and bison) However Asterisk hangs on startup (halfway through loading the modules). I have not (yet) had time to debug it, but I wondered if anyone else had done this before me ? Tim Panton www.mexuar.com

OPUS/FLAC Metadata
Thanks Phiipp, I've attempted to download this previously but somehow ended up with v2.4.99 on Windows. Is there a specific path to your suggested version? This is on a Windows machine (since that might be an issue here). OPUS/FLAC Metadata
Marvin, That is the current version being used and it still has no meta data. server_id Icecast 2.4.99.1 Testing the metadata from the admin page “Update Metadata” results in the response: Message: Mountpoint will not accept URL updates Return Code: 1 So I would guess it isn’t functioning yet. > On Jun 12, 2017, at 12:34 PM, Marvin Scholz <epirat07 at gmail.com>

speex1.2-beta2 and noise suppression problem
Hi! I'm using the newest (beta2) speex library on PocketPC (Windows powered) and experiencing some problems with noise suppression preprocessor turned on while encoding 44kHz files. You can hear the example here: http://szalik.net/speex (this is a 44kHz, 16, mono file encoded in UWB mode) I tried using speex cross-compiled with gcc (fixed point + arm4 asm) and VS (just fixed point) and it

New release 0.5.0-beta2 featuring Dump mode
HDT is currently starting a new beta cycle before achieving the 0.5.0 release. This is a pretty big step for HDT as it features a highly requested feature aka Dumping. Dumping allow users to export the result of the detection to a TFTP server. All the details and the links to download it can be found here : http://www.hdt-project.org/wiki/Dump I really appreciate to have feedbacks on it
