Ogg stream stops on Chrome for Android
I also opened it in several other devices and browserz just now and it
worked in all of them . It may be user side problems and I would tell you
to ignor any single reported error... make note of it of course but until
several report the same error point the user to a support page to check to
make certain that they are updated and able to play it.. otherwise you are

Bandwidth Calculations
OK if I go with say HE-AAC or Opus, can I still encode as mp3? I am
using Butt as my source encoding. Can Butt be configured to encode
using these codecs instead of their codecs its defaulted to?
Still a bit unclear on the method to calculate a 128k stream with
6,000 GB available bandwidth over 30 days to give an estimated average
user connections possible.

Directory Listing on http://dir.xiph.org/
Hello everyone!
I am having a issue with what I am doing wrong here to get listed in
the xiph.org public directory. I have the newest
icecast-2.3.99.3_beta3, loaded on a Win7 box acting as server, and
using BUTT to encode the source at 32kbps, mono, .mp3, from VLC
playlists. I have the server config set to public, and have this code
in the icecast.xml file:

fallback mount points?
hello all.
I run a station which uses one primary mount to broadcast from. when DJs are not on air, we want to stream a playlist of music. I have a program taking care of that for us, but now I?m at a standstill.
When our automation connects to our primary mount point no DJ can connect to broadcast. So, I?m assuming I need to work something out with a fallback mount point but don?t quite get how
