I am not familiar with the usage of SSL-Certs (in Icecast). I'd recommend to put them somewhere into a folder the webserver has access to. Putting your ssl certificate chain in a publicly accessible place like webroot is a very bad idea. Anyone could read it which means anyone could use it to impersonate your Icecast server.
