# cat fullchain.pem privkey.pem >combined.pem I wouldn't think it matters much where you put the cert as long as the running Icecast user has permissions to read it. I'd create (if not already created) /etc/icecast personally. <ssl-certificate>: If specified, this points to the location of a file that contains both the X.509 private and public key. This is required for HTTPS

I am not familiar with the usage of SSL-Certs (in Icecast). I'd recommend to put them somewhere into a folder the webserver has access to. Don't forget to change ownership and mode etc. check this out about you problem with the files -> http://stackoverflow.com/questions/991758/how-to-get-an-openssl-pem-file-from-key-and-crt-files

Unicast or Multicast?
if you read ahead you'll figure that the infrastructure of the network 'en gros' isn't made for it (yet). because of this (and not just because I am a fan of) I propose other trials with overlay networks which could (under proper application) even be more efficient than the multicast protocol(s) itself. Unicast or Multicast?
@Phil nice text... just want to mention (or better ask...) what the difference between a protocol which implements multiple connections simultaneously and a protocol implementing multiple connections by connection tracking? Unicast or Multicast?
Hi, there! I have a doubt about if this server supports unicast, multicast or both. I was looking for information in the web but I couldn't found anything. Anyone can help me? Putting your ssl certificate chain in a publicly accessible place like webroot is a very bad idea. Anyone could read it which means anyone could use it to impersonate your Icecast server. Hoi folks, I don't like to post in newsletter because of several reason but sometimes it isn't evitable. I am setting up a internet-radio-show (exclusively live, including 2 video-streams) and I want to read out the audio-metadata of momentarily played tracks in realtime to compare it against a SQL-database. The aim is to fill up and/or update a table with 'most played'

Somehow I dont get it... :-/ Although I'll soon (as soon I have a more powerful server - actually a friend of mine is hosting my site in a small cluster) install and use the icecast-server for my streaming-purposes I don't understand how to

I will ceck that option later, thanks... Actually I have another problem.... But I guess your proposition produces even more overhead than parsing a temp-file.+ Usually I'd really like to 'dock' to some C++-Interface because of speed etc but there isnt really much out there... gee models summary
I'm running some GEE models but when I request the summary(pcb.gee) all I get are rows and rows of intercorelations and they fill up the screen buffer so I can not even scroll back to see what else might be in the summary. How do I get the summary function to NOT print the intercorrelations? Thanks, -- Dean Sonneborn Programmer Analyst Department of Public Health Sciences University of

p values for a GEE model
Hi all, I have a dataset in which the output Y is observed on two groups of patients (treatment factor T with 2 levels). Every subject in each group is observed three times (not time points but just technical replication). I am interested in estimating the treatment effect and take into account the fact that I have repeated measurements for every subject. If I do this with repeated measures

GEE with Inverse Probability Weights
Greetings, I have a very, very, simple research question. I want to predict one dichotomous variable using another dichotomous variable. Straightforward, right? The issue is that the dataset has two issues causing some complications for me. 1) The subjects are not independent -- they are sibling pairs. Every person in the dataset has a sibling in the dataset. This needs to be treated a

an error to call 'gee' function in R
Dear List: I found an error when I called the 'gee' function. I cannot solve and explain it. There are no errors when I used the 'geeglm' function. Both functions fit the gee model. The project supervisor recommends me to use the 'gee' function. But I cannot explain to him why this error happens. Would you help me solve this problem? I appreciate your help. In
