TuneIn Won't Record from my Icecast Relays
? Icecast is running on Windows. ? I can successfully listen to the relay via TuneIn, but I cannot record from the relay. The record button, in TuneIn, is disabled when I play the relay in TuneIn. Playing the actual source (provided in my initial email), the record feature is enabled in TuneIn. ? TuneIn is running on iOS 8.4.1. ? The result is the same if I point TuneIn Pro to the stream or

Relays Ending With "Disconnecting source due to socket timeout"
Sorry to leave that out. My connections typically last 2-6 hours before the socket timeout error. The streams are MP3, either 64KBPS or 128KBPS. Nathan also asked about firewalls. My Windows Firewall is off, and my machine's antivirus doesn't have a firewall feature. I don't think there's any firewall in play here. Before emailing the list, I looked through several months of

Icecast itself supports the playlist formats m3u, xspf and vclt. Adding more playlist formats is not trivial without changing Icecasts sourcecode.

tunein Radio on Ios and Icecast: metadata disappeared
Hello, I'd like to know if this is a problem of Icecast, of me or of tunein. I'm thinking it is a tunein problem, anyway, from 2 3 months, if I type the address of my streaming: www.nvapple.it:8000/stream it works, but no metadata are showed. I have latest tunein pro version on Ios8. Have you the same problems with your icecast station? I don't think it depends of Liquidsoap or

Tunein on Vizio plays only 1 sec, works fine elsewhere...
Hi! My icecast stream is at http://airprogressive.org:8000/stream Website is http://AirProgressive.org This works on Tunein on most platforms, including Android and PC, like this: https://beta.tunein.com/radio/AirProgressiveorg-s141251/ But on Vizio "Smart" TV app, it only plays about 1 sec, then stops with no indicated error. But icecast still believes the stream is connected

Listen URL is Invalid
Hi; The listen URL on my Icecast page is invalid and not useable. I am trying to submit my station to Tunein but they reject it as invalid. It seems it was changed as I had been previously transmitting fine on Tunein. Thank you Regards, LanceSchilka MNET Radio -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... It works just fine, but you do need an HTTPS stream. *Brad Isbell // AudioPump, Inc.* brad at audiopump.co On Wed, Dec 18, 2024 at 12:12?PM Geoff Shang <geoff at quitelikely.com> wrote: > On Wed, 18 Dec 2024, Niko Mattheus wrote: > > > Will icecast stream to chromecast normaly? How possible is Icecast get 2 different agents from TuneIn App?
Hello guys, We have implemented auth url in our icecast instance. So, i installed the Android TuneIn app in my phone, opened it, search for our radio and tapped play. The request come from a load balancer that redirect to the icecast server. But, looking at the logs we saw: Load balancer: User-Agent=NSPlayer/10.0.0.3702 WMFSDK/10.0 X-Real-IP=177.33.155.000 Icecast:

Problem with HTTP stream but not HTTPS.
Strange issue - not sure if something has changed in Icecast2, but suddenly my long-running stream won’t connect to 8000 and says 'File or directory not found’ http://listen.radioclash.com:8000/ <http://listen.radioclash.com:8000/> but will happily connect to the SSL port I’ve set up https://listen.radioclash.com:8443/ <https://listen.radioclash.com:8443/> I am using Liquidsoap

both ssl and non-ssl stream on the same socket
Hi. I configured icecast to serve a stream over ssl and it plays nice in Chrome and VLC. But on plain http I get *connection reset*. This stream's url is the same for many years now, and it is included in many radio directories, TuneIn and other apps. I can't change it or break it. Is there a way to have a stream that servs the content over ssl and plain http in the same time, depending

Problem with HTTP stream but not HTTPS.
If you use Chrome, recent updates won't allow connections to an http server if the referring url is on an https server. I wonder how much additional CPU strain this causes when you have a few hundred plus listeners to encrypt everything. Anyway, this is the way it is now, unless you use the likes of .pls/.m3u files with the http server link for an external player. Cheers, Gavin. On
