render_with_no_layout cause by Pingdom
Hi,
When I go to my homepage all is well, however when the Pingdom bot

ActionController::RenderError occurred in home#index:
You called render with invalid options : available

icecast relay server performance testing
I’m going to try to run multiple curl processes. The libuv code that i wrote is not of a very good quality (even though it’s really simple).
thanks!

I’m running the test application from two other machines.
Do you have any suggestions for testing?

icecast relay server performance testing
Hi Alejandro,
Many thanks for your message.
I changed it to 4 (i have 4 cores), but it didn’t really help. I see that all 4 cores are now working, but the connections are still being dropped.
Which VM type are you using? Or it’s not running on AWS?
thanks!

Old Asterisk forums not working
Thanks Joshua;
Working now - but regarding the slow wiki, it's normally 5-10 second page
load for me in the UK, but it was closer to 20 seconds earlier.
https://tools.pingdom.com/#5c862c04ad800000
Seems to be back to around 5 seconds now, but I notice that if I run a
Pingdom page test from a US server, the page loads in about 1.3 seconds.
I wonder if there might be a misconfigured edge

FXO advice
Hi All,
I'll like to know if exist some Basic FXO that support some type of
automatic provisioning of configuration.
Our idea is avoid the users need to go into WebPage and setup our SIP
gateway.
Some advice or recommendation?
Thanks
Alejandro

Old Asterisk forums not working
Hello!
https://forums.asterisk.org/ is doing it again - "Content Encoding Error.
An error occurred during a connection to forums.asterisk.org. Please
contact the website owners to inform them of this problem".
Which is odd, as the Qualys test seems to pass, only losing a point for
supporting TLS 1.0. But I know it's not just me because Pingdom can't read
the page, either.

Phone system "ping" checker
Does anyone know of an online tool or program that would call our phone
numbers to confirm that they are up? What I'm imagining is something like
pingdom.com (a ping checker for web services), except for the phone system.
It would call us, confirm an answer, then hang up. If no answer, it would
send an e-mail to our cell phones so we knew about it right away. It seems
like there would be a

[OT] What is the best network monitoring tool?
Hi all,
Currently I have a big question.
What is the best OPEN SOURCE solution for monitoring multiple Host and
Services, for example for using in a WebHosting Provider with 50 hosts or
more.
Currently, I'm using NAGIOS for more than 3 years, this is a incredible
tool, but before upgrade to version 3, I have this existential question.
Please fill free to recommend any soft, but with this

icecast relay server performance testing
In the past, i had used this method:
http://icecast.org/loadtest/1/
But to be honest, nothing be compared with real use case, we found many
issues when the connections arrive from many differents IPs, the stress
test open all from small set of IPs, but almost this test case is used for
many others, and present good results.

Zahar, how are you testing? with some CURL stress test? BTW, IPTABLES is
enabled?
I was running most time in VMWARE, but i run 10k users in medium size box
in AWS, just move out for the high transfer cost.
