Source RPM issues. Mismatched Libs?
Hello, I am having some issues with the installation of the Icecast2 software on my CentOS 5.3 x64 machine. I am attempting to install from a source RPM provided by the developer. Upon executing: # rpmbuild --rebuild icecast-2.3.2-0.src.rpm Normal compilation takes place until the following error is thrown out: /usr/lib64/libxslt.so: undefined reference to `xmlXPathContextSetCache'

Icecast status-json.xsl improvements
While http://127.0.0.1:8000/status-json.xsl?mount=/live is fine for info on the server itself and the current track played it's missing a played history. I'd like to suggest adding history to status-json.xsl or to reduce the size of the json to the bare minimum that a Web base mediaplayer might need Add a new one at http://127.0.0.1:8000/playing-json.xsl?mount=/live Which will only

IE, flash and icecast
I'm having trouble getting an IE client to hear mp3 streams through a flash player. It appears to be the same problem as described at http://icecast.imux.net/viewtopic.php?t=2039 - the flash player connects to the icecast server and begins downloading the audio data, but never actually plays it. I've tried all the suggestions from that thread - I patched icecast so that the Content-length

HTTP Basic Auth alternative
Hello, Is HTTP basic authentication the only way for icecast to perform authentication ? Chrome for security reasons does not follow the link and shows a popup asking to enter the credentials but this destroys user experience for a site with a

These links don't suggest wildcards can be used, but I found the following which may be workable if I install perl on the web server. http://icecast.imux.net/viewtopic.php?t=7378 <http://icecast.imux.net/viewtopic.php?t=7378&highlight=geo+locking> &highlight=geo+locking From: Jonathan Nalley [mailto:jnalley at jnalley.com] Sent: Thursday, 8 December 2011 6:10 p.m. To: Ross

Hello, I searched through the archives and found a suggestion for a cyrillic DJ to put the following in icecast.xml: <mount> <mount-name>/mountnamehere</mount-name> <charset>UTF-8</charset> </mount> This was to resolve his problem of displaying cyrillic characters on both the status page and presumably on to listeners/players My problem is that ocassionally
