a dedicated audio encoder
Hi, In our design of Icecast2, our multiple sources will stream their high quality audio via a dedicated audio encoder (not a computer): Live audio > L+R microphone > pre amplifier > audio encoder > Icecast2 VPS So far I have a shortlist of 4 possible brands of audio encoders: Sonifex PS-SEND, Barix Instreamer, Bric-Link, Outcaster OC100. All have their pro's and cons.

Hi! I've just set up Raspberry Pi with external USB soundcard and the Darkice encoder. Seems to be working just fine (25% CPU utilization). Check this for a writeup on that: https://stmllr.net/blog/live-streaming-mp3-audio-with-darkice-and-icecast2-on-raspberry-pi/ - Marius On 01/22/2015 01:43 PM, Maarten S wrote: > Hi, > > In our design of Icecast2, our multiple sources will

SV: How to Modify Message and add more Attachments
Thats because in your example the data is sent outside the facility to a third party (in this case, wetransfer/outlook) And wetransfer/outlook is operated in third countries, which can cause GDPR problems as the legal protection for the data disappears. The OP were asking about a solution which modifies email which have already been received in a local, secure facility to add the voice mail to

Opus on MIPS performance
Hi All, First time poster to this group, please ignore my ignorance? I?m trying to use Opus 1.1 on a 400MHz MIPS 24k CPU (AR9331, specifically, like in the Arduino Yun). I?ve successfully built (I think) opus-1.1 and opus-tools-1.8 and they run, but are dog slow. opus-1.1 does have the ?enable-fixed-point option set, as this chip only has soft-float. My short test file (less than one

Hi, I managed to get my hand on a Xenyx x2222usb at a friend's, so I took the opportunity to do some testing with it. Pi model B, one of the more recent editions (I also had an older one from just after they were introduced and that one had trouble rebooting when attaching/detaching network so I ditched that one). Two usb onboard. Xenyx x2222usb has the same usb chip 08bb:2902 Texas

I have clients that process personal data and they even need to have 'special' processing agreements with companies like wetransfer and outlook.com. I had to sign also such agreement and prepare a vm for hot/cold data encryption for processing personal data. If someone leaves a voice mail message, he does not expect that this is going to be send to a third party. I think this

Re: Should I report my problem in Bugzilla? Outcast problem.
Hi, I have good news about running Outcast in Wine! Since Wine 1.0-rc2, I can play the Outcast Demo perfectly in Wine (with high quality settings)! The only problem is that the game doesn't run in fullsreen which is a little boring because the Outcast maximum resolution is 512x384... I also get few errors in a terminal output probably due to the main menu (not important!).

To receive faxes on a dedicated extention and to forward them to a dedicated e-mail
Hi list, has someone a clear complete and systematic overview over what libs, compiler versions, etc. are really necessary to enable fax receiving and forwarding via e-mail with asterisk and spandsp? As a "non-kernel-hacker" I'm running a bit confused and find it all a bit unclear and not too systematic?! %) It is remarkable how many and various errors can be produced by different

dom0 dedicated memory Xen dom0 dedicated memory and preventing dom0 memory ballooning
I''m trying to configure GRUB to allocate fixed amount of dedicated memory to dom0, according to this best practices thread (http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenBestPractices | "Xen dom0 dedicated memory and preventing dom0 memory ballooning "). When I reboot, dom0 has the fixed amount of memory as it was configured, but neither xm info shows the rest of memory available

Dedicated ROR server and security
Hi all, I am trying to set up a dedicated Ruby on Rails server on Debian Sarge, with Apache 2 and mod_fcgid. There are 2-3 applications on this server, using virtual hosts. For now, everything works fine. However, I would like to secure this a little bit more. What I would like is to prevent one of the web apps to run a shell command to read one of the other app''s source file, or

rFactor Dedicated Server CPU usage
Hello, I recently upgraded to wine 1.3.25 on debian sid to run a dedicated server for rFactor game on a little Athlon 64 x2 4400+ linux box. The server works just fine but is a CPU hog ! Under "top" it uses about 26% CPU for "rFactor Dedicated.exe" and another 28% for "wineserver" binary without any player connected. I also insist on the fact that I previously ran
