Newbie question VoD streaming with Icecast
Dear All, I am curious to know if IceCast can be used for audio/video on-demand streaming over http/https. My basic understanding is that IceCast runs in broadcast mode. As such, it may not be ideal for my particular use case, wherein, I wish to stream media files on demand to multiple browser based clients who may request the same media file at different times. The problem is, even i don't have any problem checking the airtime site or the icecast web service by my web browser, when i install my radio online player, which is basicaly a .html page with javascript & html language inside, the icecast web service can't find it, the same setup i use it on

PAM overrides PermitEmptyPasswords
I noticed while investigating Debian Bug #93200 (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=93200&repeatmerged=yes) that sshd refuses a login if /etc/pam.d/ssh doesn't specify "nullok" after the pam_unix.so module -- is there any way to resolve this problem? It seems that OpenSSH should override PAM in this case, someone posted a patch on 6/19 that appears to address this
