disconnected mount point listed in the status page
Hi! This days I switched from icecast 2.3.2 to the latest icecast kh from the github (build 30-gfe06a77). But the problem I'm speaking about didn't solve. After a source disconnects the mount point remains listed in the status page with only these entries: Mount Point /stream M3U <http://ortodoxradio.ro:8000/stream.m3u>XSPF

both ssl and non-ssl stream on the same socket
Hi. I configured icecast to serve a stream over ssl and it plays nice in Chrome and VLC. But on plain http I get *connection reset*. This stream's url is the same for many years now, and it is included in many radio directories, TuneIn and other apps. I can't change it or break it. Is there a way to have a stream that servs the content over ssl and plain http in the same time, depending

Chrome not allowing mixed content anymore
Hi. With its 80th version, Chrome stopped serving non-secure resources on https pages. This affected the icecast server I run also. I enabled SSL, the issue with Chrome not playing audio got fixed, but I noticed a major drop in the number of listeners. As far as I figured out, the listeners that have the http url in a playlist - listening in winamp, vlc etc. - could listen no more. Those using

init.d script for kh-branch
Hi! The kh-branch icecast make install doesn't install the init.d system script and from my own experience the one from the official branch doesn't work. What's the best method to add an icecast kh-breanch init script? Alexandru

Chrome not allowing mixed content anymore
This is a real problem that needs to be addressed. Anyone has figured a way to mitigate this? Video Streaming an ip mjpeg camera
Hi! Just searched the icecast forum but didn't find anything, so I'll ask you. Do you know of a streaming server to take as input a mjpeg stream from an ip camera and transcode it to ogg[vorbis] and handle it to icecast? Please don't mention vlc. Already tried and every 10 sec it freezes and buffers. Just playing the camera in vlc works fine, but not transcoding and connecting

Chrome not allowing mixed content anymore
For example, in my case, we use several servers with Centovacast, with several Icecast2 services. Version 2.5 of Icecast2, allows to respond to http and https connections from the same port, but takes years in beta. Centovacast does not update its panel, waiting for the final version of Icecast 2.5 to be released. Chrome has been warning for months that this would happen in February, but no one

multiple wrr as child of htb
Hi all, Here''s the situation. I have 80 users sharing a internet link of 5Mb link. The users are grouped in /29 ip addr classes so I have 10 classes of users I want to create a root htb, then 10 htb childs each with 0.5Mb bandwidth. The traffic will be directed to each class using tc filters. Now, I want that each of 8 users from each class to share equally the class bandwidth. Can I

End of file and other errors: solution
For anyone that has experienced the odd End of file or Cannot describe errors, we''ve found that switching to Mongrel has fixed this problem for us. We''re currently running 5 instance of puppetmaster under mongrel (with the apache proxy in front) and things are going great. For more information on setting up Mongrel, visit:

<intro> stream stopt after intro
Hi Guys, I'm using the icecast-2.1-kh5 for the intro feature. The intro works, but after the intro it stops. It does not go on with the stream. When I comment the intro part, the stream works perfectly. Does anybody know what I can do to solve this problem? -- Met vriendelijke groeten, Jesper Weiland Exonet Internet Services Koopmanslaan 3 7005 BK Doetinchem E: Jesper@exonet.nl T:

Client has fallen behind
Hi Guys, I have a lot of streaming running with Icecast (Icecast 2.1-kh5) and they work fine on (for example) winamp. The fact is that we have many listeners tuning in with mp3-web-radio's on slow connections. Some of the streams connect only once in a few time. They connect and disconnect after sending 8k. The error is: [2005-03-16 11:20:07] DBUG source/send_to_listener Client has

Disconnect listerens after X min
Hello, I'm using icecast2. I have one client who provides a source from his windows computer using winamp. This source is a 'radio station' I want to disconnect listerners after they have listen to the station for e.g. 60 minutes but can't find any documentation on this. Is this possible with icecast2? If i missed some documentation: sorry but I just can't find the answer

Best way to run hundreds of concurrent tasks?
Hi all, I''m trying to figure out to run some asynchronous tasks in a Facebook app. I''ve got things working, but BRB crashes after a little while, and I''m not sure if my setup is ideal. Here''s the scenario: - whenever a user visits my app, I need to fire off a bunch of API calls. - these calls need to start right away, because the user sees a

[LLVMdev] get value
Hi Cristianno, Thank you, it works :) with an extra cast:                                     Value *v ......                                     ConstantInt* RR = (ConstantInt *)v;                                     uint64_t VV = (RR->getValue()).getLimitedValue();                                     errs()<<"\nRR  "<<VV<<"\n";

admin.cgi metadata updates
I would just like to confirm that this is suppose to work with Ogg Vorbis streams. I'm using 2.2-kh5 at a hosting company. http://servername.com:9876/admin.cgi?pass=mypassword&mode=updinfo&song=a_song_title I'm sure I have the correct servername, port and password, but it's not working. I can do other admin tasks. When I brought this up a few months ago I'm sure

[LLVMdev] llvm get annotations
Hello everyone ! I followed http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4976298/modern-equivalent-of-llvm-annotationmanagerin order to get annotations from my target bytecode. All the examples that I give in the following is related to the code from that link. I have `__attribute__((annotate("DS"))) int f=0;` into the target C++ program and the related IR code: @.str = private unnamed_addr

[LLVMdev] int to StringRed conversion
I think the better solution should be: LLVMContext& C = is->getContext(); Value *values[] = { ConstantInt::getSigned(Type::getInt64Ty(C), *scsr*), MDString::get(C, *"path"*) }; lnstr.setMetadata(*"your_analysis_name"*, MDNode::get(C, values)); So that you can take advantage of the type system of LLVM bitcode, and don't have to cast the integers from/to strings
