ice cast with ladiocast
Hi Timothy, At our radio station we use Liquidsoap to broadcast in AAC Plus. http://savonet.sourceforge.net/ You need a linux server, as I've seen Debian and Ubuntu works the best. Of course, if you need any assitance, I'd be more than happy to help you, and for free of course. Best regards, *?kos Veres* _____________________________________________ http://akos.me - A little

Ladiocast/Icecast Configuration
I’m running Icecast 2.4.3 on macOS 10.13.6. I have a front end of Ladiocast successfully feeding Icecast. My problem is in the configuration of the source and the server. If I have Ladiocast stream to 127.0.0.1:port with a mount of stream and have the same info in the Icecast.xml config file under listen socket, I can successfully receive my audio on a browser on the server Mac. However, I

icecast2 mp3 header missing
Hi all, I?m using icecast2 to serve live streams in mp3. The streams can be played on Chrome or web views on Android, but it is very slow. Then i tried ffplay (ffmpeg) to play the streams, it?s much faster but it reports ?header missing?. I built ffmpeg with debug-info and i saw that ffmpeg probed the streams several times to get the stream format. First several times the score is low and ffmpeg

Continued problems accessing icecast from the internet
I’m setting up my system on a Mac, and have successfully gotten Ladiocast to feed Icecast and can access it on my server Mac at localhost:8000/stream. If I try to access it at the IP of the Mac at 192.168.0.5:8000 or port forwarded from the internet, I CAN successfully access the admin page. However, if I try to access the stream from either the local IP or port forwarded from the internet, I

Fair warning after helping Timothy Clark out, is ill advised and warn you stay away from this guy. While he talks a good talk, and "Christian", come forth his ways are divisive and he is all over the place. I helped him and maybe its my fault for being so helpful, and then getting involved in it. I can assure you this guys motives are not right. I let my faith in common man of course

Possible bug when creating a Ferret::Search::Sort object?
I may have run across a bug in Ferret: if throws a segmentation fault when I try to create a Sort object using the default fields (SCORE and DOC_ID), but setting reverse to true. unusual challenges speccing external software
This is something I''ve come up against twice. First, I have an interactive editor which calls vi, emacs, or TextMate (etc.) via Unix, and then loads the file handed to the editor back into IRB after it''s edited and saved. I guess that makes it a special case of a more general question, which is how do you spec external processes, with a slightly more complicated version of the

rspec with continuations: very strange
I appear to have written code which travels backwards through time: http://www.vimeo.com/742590 This disturbs me immensely. If anyone can explain it, that would be cool. I think it''s an illusion brought about by how RSpec wraps the code it executes, and by the sheer weirdness of continuations. -- Giles Bowkett Blog: http://gilesbowkett.blogspot.com Portfolio:
