EROR connection/wait_for_serversock signalfd descriptor became invalid
hello,
I am tying to get to the bottom of why my icecast server crashed and
failed to restart.
The last entry in the error log is this:

Fallback stream not preventing a disconnect
Dear all,
I"m using a combination of mopidy, icecast2 and Home-Assistant on a
raspberry pi to stream Google music to a Chromecast Audio.
The streaming works and I can listen to music. If a new song is being
started, I keep connected. However, upon changing the song or pausing the
stream, the chromecast gets disconnected. I assumed that this should be
resolved by adding a fallback stream,

Total number of listeners
Hello!
I am using icecast 2.3-kh2 (for the 302 redirect feature), and all my
relays are authenticating with user/pass. Is it possible to know how
many listeners I have for any given mountpoint counting all the relays?

Hello!
Using 2.3-kh2 I wasn't able to make fallback work. This is what I am

This by itself sounds wrong.
You can bind the same icecast to multiple listen addresses (-> multipe
ports).
Is there any specific reason you don't do it this way?

plotting issues with PCA
Hi Listers,
This has a simple answer but it has been eluding me nonetheless.
I have been building a PCA plot from scratch with the ability to plot
predefined groups in different colors. This has worked fine but when I try
to get a polygon drawn around each of the groups it is not recognising my
colour file correctly and is only printing the first colour in the
file....code is below

icecast2 alpha 1 (09/19/03) seg fault
Hi,
icecast2 doesn't want to run stable on my Slackmachine:
Linux tyson 2.4.18 #9 Fri Oct 4 17:13:35 CEST 2002 i586 unknown
I followed the guidelines at http://melmoth.dyndns.org.
I use Winamp v2.81 in combination with Oddcast DSP plugin.
I can get the stream up and running. I also can connect to it and listen to
it through another instance of Winamp.
The seg fault is reproducable:

Total number of listeners
You mean something like getTotalListeners() in
http://svn.xiph.org/websites/dir.xiph.org/index.php ?
Since all our relays are known and authenticated, I think I could query
them all in a regular basis to check how many are connected and build a
nice graph on-the-fly. I think the small change in the internal
mechanism you proposed is better, though.
BTW, the code for dir.xiph.org is not all

Help requested: udev problems with 2.6.18-xen
Hello,
I am having trouble booting the latest 2.6.18-xen kernel as a guest (domU).
My dom0 kernel is 2.6.32.18.
I believe the problem is related to udev (although I am certainly not an
expert on udev). During bootup of the guest, udev prints out "error getting
signalfd." Some other errors follow, and ultimately the boot fails.
Some googling leads me to think that there might be some

very slow pop3 downloads
Hi all,
I have a dovecot installation which very suddenly decided to slow to a crawl yesterday after being totally fine for months.
IMAP is fine, but POP3 is very painful to use, and frequently times out.
here's my config:

All,

We recently experienced an issue that prevented all new IMAP logins from
occurring. Although it appears that it was due to running out of
available system file descriptors, I'm still not sure what the true root
cause was as I can't replicate the same error in our test environment.
The system file descriptor max was set at (per `cat
