Banned web site / banned topic ?
Why are you replacing known spammers with these "banned" strings ?
This forbids anti-spam filters & programs to do their jobs properly.

Retrieving a banned e-mail
We have a postfix+cyrus+Spamassassin setup and all the virus or Banned or
spam e-mails will move to a folder on /var/virusmails.
I have a falseposative mail moved due to a banned attachment name. Could you
please help me to retrieve these e-mails?
Thanks

Is Allison going to be banned from foreign travel over polar bears?
I read this story and thought of Allison's prompt to "try not to think about blue eyed polar bears".
Will she be banned from foreign travel now?

faI2ban detecting and banning but nothing happens
I've followed one of the pages on line specifically for installing fail2ban on
Centos 7 and all looks fine.
I've added a fail regex to /etc/fail2ban/filter.d/exim.conf as suggested on
another page:
\[<HOST>\]: 535 Incorrect authentication data
which appears to be successfully matchnig lines in /var/log/exim/mail.log such

Blocking attacks from a range of IP addresses
I am being attacked by an entire subnet where the first two parts of the IP address remain identical but the last two parts vary sufficiently that it is not caught by fail2ban since the attempts do not meet the cut-off of a certain number of attempts within the given time.
Has anyone created a fail2ban filter for this type of attack? As of right now, I have manually banned a range of IP addresses

[LLVMdev] Badoo Banned
Dear All,
Yesterday, there was an off-topic post from someone at Badoo.
I have no idea if this was a stray email or SPAM or a virus, but I
recommend not opening the email.
It probably is futile, but the email address used to send the email is
now banned from sending to or subscribing to llvmdev. If we get any
more of these from the Badoo domain, we may just ban mails from anyone
from that

the website ban me when I use mechanize to grab its content, how to solve it?
Dear all,
I keep grab photos from one website.
At first I show them the default user agent (WWW-Mechanize). But
obviously they don''t like this behavior and ban the user agent
WWW-Mechanize. So I have to forge an IE user agent. It works for some
time. But the website administrator seemed to detect my behavior and
banned me again. This time I can not bypass it by simply modifying the
