Icecast 2.3.3 + Debian
I'm using KH branch, into production, and work amazing well, with the latest change into the Worker manager, one server can handle 25k concurrent users with 8 cores, using nothing of ram... really the KH branch work amazing well. 2012/7/8 R?cker Thomas <thomas.ruecker at tieto.com> > On 08/07/12 18:21, Paul Martin wrote: > > On Sun, Jul 08, 2012 at 12:15:52AM +0300, R?cker

Hi. Good to see new spirit of icecast! I have some suggestions: 1. Compatibility to iphone/android. There is a way to make the icecast working as one point solution to iphone/android? a lot of streamers searching for that. 2. I'm running icecast 2.3.2 on my 2008 windows server. I don't know how to explain this but I will try: When you starting to listen to a icecast

Icecast Directory APIs?
Hey guys, I realize this has been asked a couple times before in the past years but no one has really provided a definitive answer AFAIK. I would love to create an Icecast directory plugin for my app XiiaLive<https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.DroidLiveLite>. I have been getting a lot of request and I want to find out how to. Here is an example of a plugin I have

2.4-beta fixes for MinGW
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 With these one can build 2.4-beta (AKA 2.3.99.0) with mingw32 (gcc-4.7.0). Note, however, that win32 subdirectory is: 1) Lacking a complete Makefile.am, so it can't be built with autotools. 2) Depends on MFC, and MFC is not provided by any MinGW toolset (and MS' MFC is, most likely, highly incompatible with MinGW). So you only get a console

Proposed openSSL usage improvements
Hi everyone, Prompted by the fact that addressing some of the recent SSL problems actually would benefit from also changing things on how openSSL is used (not just updating the library), I started looking into some improvements. The tracking ticket is: https://trac.xiph.org/ticket/2070 To sum it up: - hard disable SSLv3 - hard disable compression - new default cipher list - enable forward
