IE, flash and icecast
I'm having trouble getting an IE client to hear mp3 streams through a flash player. It appears to be the same problem as described at http://icecast.imux.net/viewtopic.php?t=2039 - the flash player connects to the icecast server and begins downloading the audio data, but never actually plays it. I've tried all the suggestions from that thread - I patched icecast so that the Content-length

Internal DNS CNAME To Amazon Web Services Problem
Hello Samba Mailing List Well, the companies I contacted about this problem said that they could not help because it was an actual Samba code issue, and not a configuration issue. I have "got around it" for now by changing the internal CNAME to an A record which points to another in-house server running Apache and then creating a quick internal web site for the www.domain.com in

PuppetDB http web interface user access
Hi All, Has anyone figured out a nice way to restrict user access to puppetdb''s http web interface? Such as a .htaccess method or something similar? I would prefer something along those lines instead of setting up firewall rules. -Zane -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group. Network Boot IP Configuration Dilemma
Background: I recently wrote to Peter Anvin regarding IPAPPEND functionality, and he suggested I take the issue to this mailing list. I see it has been touched upon several times, after reviewing the archives. Let me see if I can add to it with a good level of detail: When using PXE to network boot a linux client, PXE must first acquire the client's IP address, by dhcp request, then, the

making ASTCC web page secure ???
How do you make the page http://hostname/cgi-bin/astcc-admin/astcc-admin.cgi secure ? , so that only the person administering the calling cards can see the page and make changes to the calling cards, I was thinking of using .htaccess to restrict the access to the page by requiring a password, however since it is a cgi script that does not seem to be posible. Any ideas, any suggestions ?
