Well, asking to dev-icecast list, James Scoles told me that icecast by itself can't do what i need. So he recomended me to use "liquidsoap" to do the rebroadcast. It is working just fine, because i didn't have time to discover some new thing yet. I wish to share with all of you. Thanks. 2011/4/21 Sascha Bieler <sascha.bieler at radiogong.de>: > As far as I know you

Yes, you have to setup a icecast relay server. That's all. -----Original Message----- From: icecast-bounces at xiph.org [mailto:icecast-bounces at xiph.org] On Behalf Of Facundo Su?rez Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2011 6:44 AM To: icecast at xiph.org Subject: [Icecast] repeater Hi all there. Hi, this just means that ices cannot be found in the global system PATH, because you did'nt run configure with option --prefix=/usr/. If you just run configure everything will be installed after a successful mak and make install in prefix /usr/local. Try to start ices like /usr/local/bin/ices -c /usr/local/etc/ices.conf.dist -B Hope this helps Sascha

When you get this error message, further details are available in the icecast error log, unless you've disabled error logging. If you've disabled error logging, then re-enable it. Then you'll be able to read the log file. Mike On Wed, Feb 23, 2011 at 8:33 PM, Luis Barrett <getpaid00 at gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > > We try the config that you gave us and still we our

Hi. I think that I've got some prolems with my netgear router. When I try to play the stream on my own computer it works very well, with http://localhost:8000/stream.ogg Also, if replasing localhost with the ip adress of the computer it works. But when trying to access it from outside it doesn't work. I've opened up port 8000 and 8001 on my router. Any idea what can be wrong? Can I

Hi all there. I am trying to set up an icecast2 server (wich is already running) to send some stream mount point to another server. I mean, my server is streaming at /radio1.mp3 mount point. We can listen it at http://myserver:8000/radio1.mp3; so, i want to know if is there any way to "clone" that strem and send it to another server, such as http://giss.tv:8000/radio1.mp3 Thanks. --

Hi, Are you running behind an ADSL line? If so, what type of ADSL connection (PPPoA, RFC1483 bridged), what type of router, etc. Also the line quality (noise margin, line speed, rx/tx attenuation) may be an important issue. If the line is indeed gone for 15-20 seconds, this indicates a retrain/relogin of your connection. Maybe the logs from your modem can tell you more about these outages. I

Hi Taner I doubt that the change of routes does not affect your connection, because this is normal practise with carriers (BGP or least cost routing) and usually it has no impact on the enduser, as it happens in milliseconds. My personal thinking is, that your ADSL Provider disconnects you once or twice a day to unload the DSLAM port and sometimes, if you do not have a fixed IP address, you
