Blktap userspace utils
Hi,
I''d like to use the blktap utils from https://github.com/xen-org/blktap because of the mirror feature, as the blktap utils comming with xen does not support this.
Could anybody explain why there are two different blktap utils (one in git and one comming with xen source) and how to compile the one from git so that it works with libxl ?
Any pointers greatly appreciated ;-)
Thanks

10gig in domU
Using 10G interfaces on kernel 3.2 + xen 4.1.2 we''re seeing:
dom0 ~9.2Gbps
domU *~2.5Gbps*
dmesg on domU:
XENBUS: Device with no driver: device/vif/0
Is this normal?
Thanks

XCP - Reclaim diskspace from snapshots on xcp 1.0
Hi list,
Saw that there''s a patch for xenserver 5.6fp1 which should fix this:
http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX129267
Anybody know if/when this will happen on XCP?
I have the same problem - disk usage remains the same after snapshot
deletion - this is in the log on the pool master:

userdb = vpopmail
passdb = vpopmail
user = vpopmail
}
But the vpopmail dosn'nt work. I got the

dovecot won't compile for GnuTLS
Hi!
I'm currently investigating a switch from courier-imap to dovecot since a
number of our users experience problems with Outlook in combination with
SSL.
I can compile dovecot with openssl support and it runs "fine" except that
the Outlook issues are still there. I read that dovecot works best with
GnuTLS and thought that I'd try to compile for that instead.
The system is

allow ssh access from net to fw?
Hi,
I''m trying to enable ssh (when that works, want to add:pop3s,smtp,web) from
the internet to the firewall but it does not work.
I managed to DNAT ftp to a host in the loc network (192.168.0.50) successful
but I don''t know why SSH:
Does not work for me:
ACCEPT net fw tcp 22
Works from the loc network:
ACCEPT loc fw tcp 22
I have tried also with (no success):

Only one app keeps me on Windows - Can WINE free me?
Currently, there is only one application that is keeping me on
Windows, and that is the TivoDesktop software that lets me DL episodes
from my Tivo, and in conjunction with the DirectDump tool, allows me
to convert those Tivo files to standard MPEG-2 files for editing.
Does anyone have experience running TivoDesktop under any version of
Wine under any distribution? I'm rather distro agnostic

masq rules for LVS
Hi,
I need some special masq rules to allow internal servers to resolve public IP''s which are loadbalanced by LVS - the rule are:
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -m ipvs --vaddr <LVS PUBLIC IP>/32 --vport 80 -j SNAT --to-source <LVS INTERNAL IP>
Also I need to enable:
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/vs/conntrack
Currently I do all this from /etc/shorewall/started - but is
