stream to icecast and shoutcast
Hello, I would need an advice on how to change the setup of my streaming server. The box is an AMD Sempron 2800+ 512MB of RAM, nvidia nforce2 chipset, running on an OpenBSD 3.7. Changing the OS is the last thing I am prepared to do. The system is runing icecast 2.2.0 and Darkice 0.15beta (live streaming). Because POSIX scheduling is not supported in OpenBSD (darkice message on startup) I am

Streaming Music On Hold
Ok, I'm tearing my hair out trying to get Asterisk moh streaming to work. After several hours jerking around with icecast and muse, I tried to point my asterisk system directly at two streams I know work. This is what extensions.conf has: [default] mode=quietmp3 directory=/var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3 [stream2] mode=custom directory=/var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3-empty

Server startup failed. Exiting
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION...WE TRIED A FEW THINGS AND BASICALLY THINGS RESULTED IN THE SAME ERROR... Server startup failed. Exiting WE SCRUBBED THE ICECAST.XML FILE AND VALIDATED IT AND NO ERROR WERE FOUND...WE THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LOOK OVER THE XML CONFIG FILE INCLUDED IN THE EMAIL AND SEE IF MAYBE OUR ISSUES FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO START THE ICECAST SERVER SUCCESSFULLY ARE HIDDEN

Streaming Music On Hold - Reality Check
Thanks to this thread, we got it working too... but have a question... Once this is setup... does it stream forever, or does the stream only start when someone goes on hold/into a queue/etc? If it streams forever, at 24k... it looks like over 7GB/month in bandwidth... so we're not going to want to do that if a) it streams constantly and b) my math is correct. Thanks, Doug >

Using alias to relay Icecast2 to shoutcast problems
Hi all I wondered if anyone was succesful in doing this? I found some information on using alias's to patch a stream through to a different port ie: <alias port="8002" source="/" dest="/nfa2.m3u"/> However this does not appear to work properly. If I type the url into a browser, this then opens up and plays as it should in winamp, however if I type it

You can add symbols from Archieve via StaticLibrarySearchGenerator. But it is added recently though On Tue, 27 Aug 2019 at 21:02, Praveen Velliengiri < praveenvelliengiri at gmail.com> wrote: > Hi Geoff, > I tried it, but I can't able to reproduce it. > > Test Program: > #include <fstream> > int main() > { > std::ifstream stream1, stream2; >

Cannot listen to shoutcast mount point
Hello, I'm having some difficulty getting Icecast working. I was able to use Icecast and shoutcast when they were both installed on the same Windows XP box, but when I moved icecast to a Linux box, the same icecast.xml configuration doesn't seem to work. I am able to connect to Icecast using shoutcast streaming source and stream the mp3 source to Icecast, however whenever I attempt to

After I enabled SSL, stream mountpoints broke
I'm running Icecast package 2.4.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 from ttp:// download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/dm8tbr/xUbuntu_14.04. I've been running on this server for about 6 months now without any issue and all my streams run great. This icecast server is running on the same host that my wordpress site is running on. This is all on my own private server, not a hosting service. Recently I

Orc JIT vs. STL
Greetings, LLVM wizards. We are using Clang and Orc JIT (v1) to compile and execute C++ code on the fly. If a C++ module calls functions from external libraries, we add them via DynamicLibrary::LoadLibraryPermanently(). The problem we have run into recently is when a module calls a function from the STL -- in particular this swap() function for input streams: #include <fstream>

shoutcast to icecast2 issues
relaying a shoutcast stream via icecast2 is pretty much unlistenable -- it constantly stutters. for example, shoutcast relay -- http://205.188.234.1:8030/listen.pls icecast2 relay -- http://liveradio.indymedia.org:8001/sf-hifi.mp3.m3u --mark --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a

shoutcast to icecast2 issues
btw i just noticed that the icecast2 relay sounds fine in whamb (mac os x mp3/ogg client). so it does seem that some clients don't have the problem. here's the relay configs we're using: <relay> <server>server.to.be.relayed</server> <port>8000</port> <mount>/</mount>
