Got side tracked on other issues. I also got access to the BUTT (open source/sourceforge) encoder and found where to set the mount point in the encoder. It was already streaming MP3 and so I set a new mount point with an MP3 extension and that?s all it took to fix it. Clients go to Icecast using the new path in the URL and all works as it should. Hi, The server is receiving an MP3 stream and apparently /stream.ogg is a default of some sort since I haven?t configured it and it?s not a mount point under /web. And to make matters more confusing, / stream.ogg is actually streaming MP3. I would like the mount to be /live.mp3. Hello together, we would like to use IceCast 2.3.1 as a mp3 streamer source for reencoding several sources of ices 0.4. It is working perfectly already by using an mp3 playlist with local stored mp3s. But our plan is to upload an 160 kbps stream and want ices 0.4 to reencode to 96, 56 and 32 kbps. Uploading 1 getting 4 streams. We are streaming with SAM Broadcaster 2. Icecast runs on SuSE 9.3

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post my problem to, i'm not a developer but a user experiencing a possible bug in the flac decoder. using winamp 2.81 + in_flac.dll (tryed different versions eg 1.12 and 1.21) + Electri Q Winamp DSP plugin (all versions affected) Winamp crashes just before flac track ends (next track is also flac track) does NOT crash when playing mp3
